Highly highly recommend this Gem.Exceptional authentic Vietnamese food from the heart. We felt like we had an experience of eating it from some hidden gem we happened to find along some street in Da Nang VN. We had the Banh Beo for entree and Clay Pot Set for main andAffogato for our dessert. All dishes were beautifully present and served quick and hot! The portion was just right by the end we were satisfyingly full, leaving us the temptation to come back for more. Definitely not your average kinda Viet restaurant around the area.Service was warming and personal, it made our lunch experience extremely enjoyable. We meet the owner and she's so lovely. You could see how her love and passion for home Vietnamese food brought this place to life.Special places like these deserves our recognition and support. So glad we stumbled upon it.

Beautifully tucked away in Bankstown!!Authentic Vietnamese food, with exceptional decor! They have an entertainment area w live music, and a classy little bar upstairs.The staff were so lovely and children friendly restaurant. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful atmosphere, lovely food! I went here with a few girlfriends, one of which is Vietnamese so she ordered everything for us. Wow! the flavours so good! We will definitely be back!love the little outdoor dining area with live music! Just a great experience thankyou!

Modern Vietnamese food with a jazzy interior or romantic courtyard exterior.With the privilege of having mum’s great cooking at home, I rarely want to go out for Vietnamese food. In fact she would give me an ear bashing for buying what she could have proudly made at home herself. But this was different. I wasn’t drawn to Pitago for its cuisine. Rather, looking from the outside in, this restaurant looked too damn cute. And with the jazzy sounds coming from within, I had to find out for myself.So what drew me in was the vibe, but what kept me wanting more was the food. Serving authentic Viet dishes and lesser known gems, this place knew what they were doing. Portions sizes were humongous too! Some plates felt more akin to Chinese weddings whereby they bring out a massive plate intended to be evenly distributed amongst a table of eight! Everything was a 10/10 - the food, the vibe, the staff and also that damn coffee. Kept me up until 3AM but it was well worth the taste!Dishes ordered:- Beef Carpaccio- Banh Beo Set- Pork Belly Rice Set- Young Papaya Salad

A great hidden away vietnamese fusion restaurant serving amazing food. I tried their new curry which was a perfect balance of spice and flavour. The beef was cooked till it was soft enough to pull apart with little effort and the bread they served with it was a great addition. I also tried their salt and pepper softshell crab and would definitely recommend it as an entree. Great flavour and crunchy exterior. The owner has done an amazing job to make the decor feel comforting and lively. There was also live jazz music which made for a really enjoyable experience.

Just discovered this local Vietnamese restaurant, decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. The food and service is just awesome, and the restaurant layout and the way it is decorated is second to none in any Vietnamese place I know in Sydney. Recommend everyone to give it a go.

Got the salmon rice set, banh mi and the rice noodle salad set with prawn and pork spring rolls.The ambient is what sets pitago apart from other Vietnamese restaurants. Dishes have unique touches such as rice being cooked in a clay pot (providing the crispy coating on the rice), tamarind soup, perfectly cooked salmon, pressed banh mi with their in house sauce. Overall a pleasant dine in experience.

Not at all like the other rather grubby hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurants in Bankstown. Nice atmosphere and decorations, clean, licensed for alcoholic beverages, very tasty food, Northern & Central Vietnamese style.Staff a bit confused when I asked for a non alcoholic cocktail, as advertised on the menu, but only a minor point.Otherwise a pleasant surprise, recommended. Appear to be closed Monday & Tuesday.
