I have been a customer of Golden Bowl for quite some time, recently tried to place a delivery order, probably over $ 70.00, phones got crossed, dealt with 2 people trying to take my order at the same time. Called 7 times to try and speak to one person. very frustrating. Won't be going back. Food is good, customer experience, not good.

Vivian and her team at Golden Bowel have been our go to for Chinese for over 15 years now. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and service is quick. They are accommodating, professional and polite.We highly recommend her services and that of her team for lunch or dinner.

I've been ordering food from here for many years. It's always great quality and the portion sizes are generous. I have two negatives though - the decor is seriously woeful so eating in is not an option. Secondly, they are yet to get with the times. This means I have to repeat name, address, phone number, card details blah blah every time. First world problems.

Love the 'bowl. Our Friday night go-to for takeaway Chinese. These people know how to cook. Chefs specials are fantastic: love the pancakes: every time we order we say we'll try something different... But always ends up getting the pancakes, they're so good!

Apologies to Golden Bowl Kitchen as it is not that restaurant that I have reviewed!!! I waited for over an hour for my take away congee. People came & went picking up their orders, customers who were seated were delivered their food...& I just sat and waited until I asked when it would be ready bc I'd been waiting over an hour & the guy asked the kitchen guy who said it'll be ready soon...& with that I said I was hungry, I've waited a long time, so give me my $10 back. As they guy was going to the till to get the $10, suddenly my congee appeared. Then I had to wait until the guy and the woman worked out whose congee was who's - absolutely ridiculous!!! All I can say is, if you are hungry (and why wouldn't you be if you've turned up to an eatery?) do not go to this place for any type of reasonable timing for delivery of food. The congee was okay, it wasn't how I've had it before as there was ginger added which overtook the other flavours.

Literally the best Chinese food in the area, we get food from Golden Bowl all the time (been living here for years) and it never disappoints. You really can’t go wrong with the whole menu!

Our local. The food is always yummy and consistent. This is good if you are after old school, feel good, homely western style Chinese food. We usually get the family pack, it is great value. They also do a great beef ho fun (soy sauce) and short soup.

Tonight I ordered Chinese for my mother an I. We got satay beef and it was that spicy we couldn't eat it. Called the restaurant back to let them know, only the hear the lady telling me it was my fault an satay beef is always spicy. I have ordered from many Chinese places an have never had this experience of it being that spicy we could not eat it. The whole order was disgusting. The spring rolls the short soup and the special fried rice. I'll never be ordering from them again.
