The Cheesecake Shop Cleveland

They did a wonderful job in making my son's birthday cake. The cake looks beautiful and tastes amazing! I definitely recommend this cake shop for any occasion!

I bought a two slices of traditional cheesecake (not baked).Bleh.It tastes nothing like cheesecake. It manages to be both overly sweet and insipid at the same time.Where's the biscuit base? Why does the cheesecake have the consistency of whipped cream? Where's the delicate cheese flavour?Bleh.Where's the corporate pride in their product?

Disgusting effort. We picked up a cake for my neices 5th b'day to find out after cutting it was full of mould. U can imagine the disappoint on her face n everyone else's. When we take it back to the shop theres no manager only a young girl. She tried calling her manager for us but no answer. My sister been going there for years, not anymore. We bring back another cake which was frozen. Unbelievable.... I'm not finished yet!!!

After being customers for many years & always trying to support small local business, unfortunately today's purchase will be the last.Cake display cabinets absolutely empty, cake options brought out very limited with no information provided as to what's under the pile of stale popcorn They do not look fresh at all. I'm not sure what has changed but its not good for business. $49+ for a cake that looks old is not OK.

Just went in 20 mins ago for a cake for my daughter and the one in the cabinet and the one cut up in the fridge looked great so we ordered one and when she bought it out the cream was really yellow, I asked her twice and she said it was fresh, I felt bad so bought it anyway, then my daughter said she can’t have egg or old cream because she’s pregnant, I went back in and they said there was no egg so that was fine but we weren’t happy with yellow cream, the only time I have ever had yellow cream was on old cakes we didn’t eat quick enough. Apparently because of covid it couldn’t be swapped, I walked to the car and straight back, I guess food poisoning is excepted there. The bleeding usually only happens when they aren’t fresh too, our kids are in their 20’s and we have only ever bought from them for cakes but now we never will again.

Bought a birthday cake for my sister! We asked them if they could replicate a cake we found online in my sister’s favourite colour for the decoration, and they did it perfectly! The cake was so nice and fluffy, and the icing wasn’t too sweet either. Definitely recommend!!

Very sad to say after over 10 years only going to Cleveland cheesecake shop for every occasion and often just for a treat I've decided they are no longer the same business with the same good quality cakes. I gave them several chances in the last 6 months and only 1 out of 4 cakes was actually like the cakes they used to produce. Today I went back with the cake bought lastnight with only 3 slices cut out and told the owner that I'm sorry but I'd like a refund and that despite recent purchases, hope they would get better as it would be disappointing to not be able to have the cakes we've always loved from there. The owner was quite aggressive and in complete denial but thinking of all the money I've spent there lately I insisted on a refund rather than a voucher. I got my refund but I won't be back. Sad but it is what it is. The cakes look bad in the window, sunken in, cream old, strawberries dry and old (as an apprentice baker I know when a cake is not fresh) but he would rather deny, insult and shoot himself in the foot then just take something back and fix the issue. The decorating of the cakes aren't what they used to be my favourite the black forest is sad. It's just cheap shaved chocolate dumped in a pile on the top of the cake. You can see there's no pride in his work. They need to admit that they're selling thawed cakes!!
