VicRoads - Frankston Customer Service Centre

I am appalled, I have just been to my local vicroads to re-establish my registration as it ran out. Firstly, I'm not happy that I no longer have a sticker on it to allow me to keep track of when itdue, it had been unregistered for sometime and I had no idea. Secondly, I was turned away as I hadn't made an appointment and charged $19 (+ card fee) for the privilege of accessing MY public service. The next available appointment is in almost a month, two days before my roadworthy expires!Why is a government department not able to under take basic 'bread and butter' business and why do I have to pay to access it!

I went to Frankston Vicroads for my car inspection and registration dated 17 March 2023, inspection time 3:20 PM.I was served by a lady officer name Cristin; she did inspect my car and processed all required documentation for registration at the time of payment; the EFTPOS machine was not processing my payment because of my wrong pin code. Finally, I decided to go to the bank and bring cash, and it was closing time of official hours, and she told me we could wait for you.I returned to the Vicroads office and told them that I could not manage cash because the back got closed I did request them if I could come to pay the amount tomorrow and complete the registration tomorrow. Initially, she told me that your appointment is for today, dated 17 March, and you need a new appointment; later, she went to the office manager's desk and requested a payment extension on my behalf.Today, dated 18 March, I went to VicRoads Frankston again and paid the registration fee. All their staff are friendly and professional, especially the lady officer Cristin.I am very thankful to Cristin and her entire team for their support and that's why I am giving the Frankston Vicroad office a 5-star review.

I attended today with my incapacitated wife, who has extreme difficulty walking with crutches.We had a very wonderful gentleman escort her and, before we reached the concierge, he had already organised another equally fantastic helper at desk 5 who sorted out our issue.I don’t think that we have had such superior service for a very long time.Thanks VicRoads.

Really efficient and great service by the team. Virtually no waiting time and prompt to get the DL renewed. Undoubtedly the best RTA l have ever been to. Cheers

Did my solo driving test today. Kevin was my testing officer. He was friendly and super crisp with the instructions. All the staff at the Vicroads center here are helpful and friendly.

Got there nice and bright and early this morning, there was quiet a few people there lining up but I got seen pretty quickly and they were very friendly and helpful.

What a surprisingly efficient and friendly place! One always dreads going into Government services, but I have to say, VicRoads Frankston really is doing great. From the cheery greeting at reception, to the problem-solving inspectors that helped us get our van compliant, it was a generally helpful and nice place to be. Considering VicRoads is in the business of handing out fines and charges fees, the fact that they have been given a 4 star average on Google is really saying something. Whoever is in charge here needs a pay rise.

I had a very pleasant experience at frankston vicroads. I went for the drive test and got it successfully. The instructor was very polite and the instructions were crisp. I walked out a satisfied customer.

Had my driving test here with Zach, he was really friendly and made me feel comfortable and not anxious about my test. Was a really good experience, thank you!
