I just had the best pizza (Zesty Prawn) I think I've ever had in my life! And the best beer too (Mr Miyagi Lager). All served by the most friendly and genuinely welcoming staff ever. 90% of restaurants in Brisbane could learn a thing or two from these wonderful folks.

Sweetest restaurant in down - we went twice! So friendly and down to earth with a stunning fit out. Affordable and delicious! Tried a whole range of drinks too. Didn’t love the peachy wine cocktail, but wouldn’t stop me from returning or giving a top rating because we’re excited to return one day :)

Rang for a booking late Saturday evening couldn’t fit us inside but ensured us the outdoor seating was heated it was, the menu and service was excellent. The restaurant was serviced by a young workforce that management should be proud of hope they pay them properly because they are the business

We had a lovely meal here and would really recommend a visit. We ordered the ham & pineapple pizza with a gluten free base and it was delicious (one of the best gluten free ones I’ve had). We chose to sit inside and just found the acoustics a bit loud when 2 louder tables came through.

I love Matilda's courtyard when the sun is shining, it has a real holiday feel to it. We found this place by accident and were pleased with it's offerings. I had kingfish sashimi and the best fresh salad with hemp seeds. My partner had a pizza, the dough was a bit undercooked and she said she'd had better.

A beautiful atmosphere that lives up to the welcoming sentiment on the wall hanging inside. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is gorgeous. As we arrived late, there was lots unavailable on the menu, but we took this as a sign that everything is just THAT fresh! We were quite satisfied with our meal, and enjoyed ourselves. The desserts were a highlight.

Matilda's is an absolute gem in Nambucca, with friendly and down to earth atmosphere but top notch Italian style food. We shared a burrata with hot honey and peach which was unique but delicious, and had a cocktail in a jug which was generous and refreshing.Their fresh pizza is fantastic, especially the lamb one. We had one of our pizzas on the gluten free base, which was slightly on the drier side compared to the regular base but still much better than common gluten free substitutes. Their collaboration menu with a local chef is very unique and worth trying. We especially enjoyed the half baked cookie dessert which topped off our night.Overall, an great experience with really friendly and helpful staff, and top notch food. Would absolutely return for more.

We’ve had 2 x private dining experiences with the Matilda’s team and honestly don’t think they can be beaten on quality or price.From the passion in how to make dough just right to the fun twists in the menus toppings to the laid back huge smiles on the teams faces while they do it…nambucca and all who visit are so so lucky to have this secret gem. If I was the Michelin star man I would give this place 10 tires!

I had to leave a review because I’m blown away. The staff are incredibly nice! Absolutely amazing people. The pizza was top tier delicious and the half baked cookie dessert was unbelievable! Tonight was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Thank you so much!
