Grove Road Reserve Off leash dog park

Great place, great people, my little pup loves it here. Large space, but it's not fully fenced so beware if your pup tends to wander.

Nice big park, plenty of room for dogs big and small. Lots of shade in the afternoon. All the dogs and owners are very friendly.

Lots of space for dogs who love to run. I also like the trees within the fenced space. Be mindful that the park is immediately next to an active trainline and rail crossing, some dogs may not appreciate the noise. No other activities or amenities.Needs a garbage bin as the disposals in the park are jammed full of trash to the point of being unusable.

Nice park, good size small area could have been alittle bigger. I know large dogs need larger area yes but ratio I think is abit off. Finally a park with enough trees for shade, undercover table and water on the inside!

Love this dog park, especially since it's been upgraded to smaller and large dog sections.I tend to use it outside the busy periods, (later morning, early afternoon) and it's great. A few benches for the humans and plenty of space for the hounds.Water fountain for both species and dog bags and bin provided.

It's amazing how big the enclosure was. It's massive. Only problem is the water bowl is located at one end of the park

It's ok. could have a lot done to it if the council put more effort into it.doggy area small .dogs like to run . Need a few bbq all around. And more play equipment for kids . It's a very big area that is going to waste .

I’m going to leave a detailed review as I wish was available before I came.After reading other reviews, we decided to give this dog parks go. We went into the SMALL dog section at around 9am and left around 10am.Positives:- Lots of shady spots with large trees providing sun protection- Big area to play for small dogs compared to Belyando St and Penfolds Ct small dog parks- Covered seating and table available- Water available for both dogs and humans and it looked pretty clean.- Waste bin available and not overflowing- Fully fenced- Well maintained lawn- Very little rubbish and small amount of poo compared to other local dog parks- Pretty quiet with only one other family coming to use the park at the time we were there.- Plenty of parking spots available out the front. 10 spots available. One being a disabled parking bay.Negatives:- As other reviews have mentioned. In comparison to the large dog section, it does feel small. More room for smaller dog would have been great as there is only so far you can throw the ball before it hits the fence. Bigger small dogs need more room to run.- It can get quite loud with constant trains going past. The train line is right next to the small dog area. My dog had never heard a train before and with the sirens and track noise he got a fright. But by the 5th train, he didn’t seem to care anymore.- A little confusing to figure out where this park is. Wasn’t sure if it was on Holmview Rd or Grove Rd. It is indeed on Holmview Road. Just follow the creepy deserted road down to where the road bends. Then you’ll see about 10 parking spots and some fencing. Park in there. Don’t cross the train lines. It’s right on the bend of the road.- Waste bin is outside of the dog area, so you have to exit 2 gates just to use the bin. Having one inside would have been much more convenient.- Only one seating area. I think even another uncovered bench like the big dogs have in their area would have been good.- There is an old tire in the back corner that my dog wouldn’t leave alone. It looks like it’s been there a while and should probably be moved away next time the park is attended to.Overall, I think the positives outweigh the negatives and I would recommend coming here. I think it’s the best dog park I’ve been to in the Holmview area and we will be back.

It's a good dog park with a lot of friendly folks with their dogs.The poop bags and bins are well placed and used by nearly all.Only 3 sides of the park are fenced with the fourth side leading into a swampy kind of area, so pack something to protect your car if you are driving in. It's a pity that the council seems reticent to finish the fencing off.

This could be an awesome park, Great people and lots of dogs to play with :) Major problem is the section with no fence. Council has erected a sign saying no dogs past this point - only problem is our dogs cant read and when they are playing and having fun they follow other dogs straight into the long grass and boggy smelly water. We ended up at the vet due to a rash on our dog so can you please continue the fence down the side line as well, I know a petition was sent to get this done but no response. Otherwise be warned anyone visiting this park :(
