This restaurant is surely a hidden gem. Cannot fault anything, food was so delicious with lots of unique flavours.Waiting staff were very helpful and the service was top notch

A great Indian restaurant in Eaglehawk road. Nice food, service and ample car parking. Navneet has been very friendly and helpful. Loved the visits there. Prices are comparatively cheaper than other Indian food outlets. Recommended.

The best butter chicken in the world! These guys know how to do curries. If you like Indian, this is a must. If you DON’T like Indian food, still go and see what you’ve been missing. This is the second time I’ve been back, but definitely not the last. It’s love at first bite!

We had Amazing experience at Indian daawat restaurant. Food is awesome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were have received extraordinary service, even after kitchen closed she arranged us dessert with happy face. The arrangement at courtyard was really amazing for larger groups. Will come back there again for sure. Keep it up Indian daawat restaurant

The food was delicious, it may not look much from the outside and the decor is a little tired but the food is awesome. Our group shared a fantastic array of dishes and needed to order more side dishes, naan etc and that was no issue and was provided quickly.

The butter chicken is the worst I have ever eaten it had a very strange flavor and was uneatable, and the chicken korma was watery and lacking flavor but extremely spicy for only medium heat, I would not order from them again. I was offered by the owner a complimentary meal, so I had the butter chicken and korma again and they were much better and I enjoyed both dishes and the service was very good and the Naan bread was delicious

We went on a trip to Bendigo, we found this restaurant, first the service was so bad, just 1 server I don't know if she was tired or what she was not at her best.Now coming to taste, we ordered mild food, it was still so spicy. Taste worst, naan not properly cooked. Daal, coconut vegetables, and butter chicken had so much color to give the looks but taste 3 out of 10.I will not recommend this restaurant.

First time trying here and I really liked the meal and great customer service, great music and will be coming back again for sure.I had the butter chicken and also tried tikka masala and both were very nice.

It was a last minute thing as the wifey wanted Dahl & rice. Time was 2.30 pm when we reached Bendigo and we chanced going here. Bit of a dodgy looking joint and the fact is the place could use a bit of dolling up to give a better ambiance. The one thing I couldn't fault though was the food. Well done guys. I love being surprised by good food and yours was great. So was the service but remember to smile. I actually didn't mind it being attached to a pub as you can order a beer with your food and made the experience a bit quirky. If you consistently serve food like that we will return next time we are in Bendigo but you really need to do something about the decor and pls make sure you can't see the kitchen next time as it didn't look the cleanest due to having that half wall at the front counter making you look at the top half of the kitchen.
