Dan Evans is hands down the best wedding photographer in South Australia. If you're lucky enough that he's free on your date, do not hesitate booking with him.We were lucky enough to have Dan photograph both our engagement and wedding, and could not have been happier with both the experience on the day, and the amazing photographs as a result. His style is (in my opinion) a beautiful, moody, timeless look. The shots are visually stunning.Dan is a LOVELY person, he makes you feel so comfortable on the day - so don't worry if you or your partner aren't 'into' having your photograph taken. He has an amazing ability to both capture candid moments, and where necessary, suggest posed shots to ensure you have every possible type of shot to capture the day.He's the kind of person who, from the get-go, fits right in with you, your partner and your bridal party - somehow like he's like a good friend you haven't seen in ages and he absolutely adds to the atmosphere on the day.If what you're after is an A+ professional wedding photographer who delivers absolutely stunning shots - with a calm, friendly and warm disposition, Dan is definitely the man for you. I'd book with him again in a heartbeat.

We were recommended to Dan by numerous suppliers after having to find a wedding photographer only 6 weeks before our wedding!!Thankfully, it worked in our favour that Dan had a cancellation on our date and could shoot our wedding.Dan made us feel so comfortable from the beginning inviting us over for a gin and really being able to get to know his style and how he shoots.On the day of the wedding, he was just an all round good person to deal with! We had laughs, fun moments but most importantly made my husband and I feel so natural in front of the camera to really capture our love.Dan provided us with a dozen images the next day and my goodness they were stunning!! Once we received the full album there were simply too many good shots to choose from, we were so so happy with the result!We honestly could not recommend Dan enough. He is such an amazing photographer which you can clearly see from his work. Do not hesitate booking Dan for your special day or any occasion!

Dan photographed our intimate wedding in February this year and from the moment we met him we knew we’d made the right choice! The photos really speak for themselves but it was also Dan’s care, considerate nature, humour and all round good energy that stands him apart. We had the best day which resulted in beautiful photos and all our guests and bridal party commented on what a legend he was!

I don’t even know where to start... I saw Dan’s work and loved it, we were so lucky he was available (our wedding was very last minute as a result of COVID) and he was was unbelievably patient with both us and the situation we were in. Communication was brilliant!On the day it just felt like he was one of the guests. We are not ones for posing but he just made us feel so comfortable.The photos are even more amazing than we could have asked for.Thanks for making average people look half decent! Dan Evans was AMAZING!My partner and I were both quite worried about lopsided smiles and double chins.Dan made us both so comfortable & laughing the whole day we forgot he was there, which in turn created the most beautiful and amazing memories from our awesome wedding day.Dan was easy & lovely to communicate with and made us really comfortable from the first meeting.Dan made anything possible on the day and was really great at just appearing when I thought of a new photo combination with our guests, we didn’t want to be away from our wedding for hours & Dan just got that and made it happen.Would 100% recommend Dan and will certainly use him at my next wedding!Love him & his work.

While planning our wedding from interstate we stumbled across Dan Evans Photography’s website and Instagram. After looking through his photos we knew that we wouldn’t be happy with anybody else photographing our wedding day… and boy were we right!Dan’s professionalism and easy going personality made us all feel so comfortable and he made our day a lot more fun and relaxing. He fit in with our family and friends and genuinely felt like just another friend attending the wedding!The photos turned out incredible and we couldn’t be happier with the service Dan has provided us.If you’re looking for a wedding photographer or a photographer for any other special occasion we couldn’t recommend Dan more!

Honestly, my husband and I could rave about Dan all day but we'll shorten the praise to an appropriate word count for a review.I personally was a fan of Dan's work for years before my husband proposed and always knew I wanted Dan to photograph our wedding. We all met up over a drink to meet and we just instantly got along.It doesn’t take much to realise that Dan is an exceptionally talented photographer, who captures moments in an effortless way. His moody style was a perfect fit for us but even more importantly Dan himself is such a relaxed, kind, down-to-earth guy. The moment we met him we knew he would make us feel relaxed on our wedding day and that was such an important part of the decision making for us.We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding last year due to covid and, while all of our vendors were incredible during such a stressful time, Dan was especially patient and kind. He reassured us many times throughout the stress of postponing and was always willing to offer a helping hand if we needed it.On the day of the wedding he made us feel comfortable, at ease, was patient with us and generally just felt as though he was just another friend at our wedding. Dan went above and beyond for us in the lead up and on the day. We are both just incredibly grateful to have picked him to have captured our day and to have been a part of it.Thank you Dan :)

We cannot speak more highly of Dan, he was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable from the first time we met him and especially on our wedding day. The way he captured our wedding day was perfect! His photos speak for themselves, just by looking at his Instagram page its hard not to admire his work.

What can I say about Dan Evans, I don’t think words could begin to describe how purely talented & incredible he is at his job.From the moment my now husband and I were engaged, I knew I wouldn’t want anyone other than Dan capturing our special day. Dan is an incredible human and an even better photographer! He has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and the finished product is always amazing. His friendly, kind and humble demeanour makes him so easy to talk to and he truly cares about all his clients- and of course the photos he produces for them.
