Ventura Dandenong Depot

My daughter left her Miki on the bus, staff on the phone were incredibly helpful and contacted the bus driver who fortunately located it.The wonderful bus driver was then nice enough to meet me at a bus stop to drop it off. Thank you for saving me both dollars and time.

Biggest public transport provider in Vic. Around 1200 buses servicing Melbourne. Professional, well mannered and friendly drivers filtered from rigid screening process. Buses well presented. On time performance is good and continually improving. Great employer.

Bus driver refused to wear mask while sneezing. Became confrontational when I politely attempted to explain why she needed to wear it to keep me safe from potential exposure to covid19.This reflects poorly on Ventura I hope they take covid19 more seriously than this driver did.

Wade and his staff, panel workshop a credit to this Depot, courteous and helpful. Ranjeet and staff in the other workshop I find both these managers super helpful.

What can I say, it's a bus depot lol.

At 2.22pm on 27/3/18 a driver who was driving a white Toyota Corolla with ‘Ventura’ on the two front doors nearly crashed into my car when he crossed a SOLID white line on Chandler Rd Noble Park just before it meets Princes Highway!! Registration of the car ZHK 179!! Before that he was driving all over the two lanes (clearly marked as having two lanes) and just doing what he wanted!! Was an old man behind the wheel and it’s only because of MY driving skills that an accident did not occur and because I not only beeped my horn and screamed!! Clearly HE was in the wrong but gave no recognition and then proceeded to cut off more cars after we had all crossed Princes Hwy!!!!I sincerely hope this old fool is NOT a bus driver or in control of any vehicle that people put their trust in him for a safe journey as he cannot drive a small modern car at all-maybe time to retest his (lack of) driving ability!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always thought Ventura was a great company to work for, having a great reputation & knowing family from years back who have worked for Ventura. I applied for a trainee bus driver job & I have been for two interviews. I found the staff to be very rude and unapproachable. I was spoken to in a manner that was very unprofessional and both the times I have been for an interview I waited (1st time/ 35 mins ) (2nd time/ 10 minutes ) and it was not explained to me where to go on the day of the interview( office details etc being over a weekend ).Extremely disappointed as I had high expectations of Ventura. In comparison to other companies the level of service and treatment toward new staff is of a much lower standard. Including HR staff.

Today i travelled with a pram, on the 824 Moorabbin bound. I fought to get my pram with my 18 month old, up onto the entry landing, instead of the bus driver lowering the bus to enable easier access, he looked at me and turned up his opera music and ignored the fact that i was struggling. Again on exit, the bus was not lowered.
