The Float Room - Floatation Tanks (sensory deprivation) + Infrared Sauna, Dry Salt (halotherapy) + Norma Tec Recovery System

What a beautiful experience! From the moment I walked in I felt so relaxed. As busy parents of little boys, we very rarely put ourselves first but today we did a sauna, float and salt room and they were all amazing. Trudi did a wonderful job explaining all the information and her customer service really made the experience so much more. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this place for an amazing floating experience. Trudi and Stu are very lovely and welcoming. They explain everything in detail and give you a lot of very important and necessary information other places don’t do (I know what I am talking about). The location is very central and everything inside is very clean and tidy. The infrared sauna in combination with a floating is the most relaxing experience I ever had. I've been coming here since 2017 and can honestly say I've never even come close to a bad experience. The owners are incredibly welcoming, warm and professional - they are patient, take the time to explain everything required to get the most of your experience. I genuinely look forward to seeing them as much as I do the float and saunas themselves.Floating and sauna are primarily the services I use here, and I've made a commitment to myself to start to prioritize mental health and self care, to the extent that I am now making a monthly recurring booking to ensure I keep up. If I lived closer to town I'd be in more often.Everyone has the right to their own opinion and experience, but I cannot see how anyone could give anything but 5 stars to these guys.Thanks and see you again soon!

From the first contact via phone to the herbal tea afterwards was a 5 star experience.Trudi and Stu were very welcoming. A relaxed chat, informative detailed information and then the magic of the float. Clean, modern and every detail from start to finish was truly appreciated. Well done guys

I had reservations after reading a couple of the 1 star reviews but they were clearly written by people maliciously. The venue, owners and experience were all very professional and amazing and you will not regret a visit here.The personal approach and professionalism of the owners was above and beyond anything I have ever come across before. Highly knowledgeable and lovely people leading to my first float tank experience to be unforgettable and I will be travelling a long way to visit again regularly in the future.

I have been a client of the Float Room for over 10 years. It is more that just a nice experience. To float regularly is an investment in your health and wellbeing. Every time I walk through the doors I am instantly transcended into a calm, peaceful and happy place.Trudi and Stu are beautiful people with strong integrity who really take the time to get to know their clients and now when I walk in, it is like I am visiting my friends.Their premises are immaculately clean and sanitary at all times which is vital in the covid world we now live with.They have very high standards and expectations which benefits all clients as you can be assured that the every time you visit that you are amongst like-minded people who are respectful of the space and other people.The infra-red sauna, halo (salt) therapy and Normatec massage are also wonderful alternate experiences.Floating really is the best possible relaxation for both your mind and body!

I couldn't recommend this place high enough. Trudi and Stu are some of the kindest, most generous and authentic people I've met. I'm quite new to The Float Room but I'm absolutely loving it. I booked my first float a few months ago and I was happy to actually speak with Trudi over the phone who helped me prepare for it mentally and emotionally. When I walked into their zen space for my first float, I was greeted by loving and caring people, who clearly take the time the explain the ins and outs of floating. I also love the way they treat their tanks with so much care and respect. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of my post-float conversations with both Trudi and Stu, who clearly love hearing our stories and sharing their own. So much wisdom in these two.Reading the reviews, I'm not surprised this business is rating 4.4 stars. Clearly the people who wrote negative reviews don't like great customer service, are only after instant gratification and completely lack value in the healing of floating.One happy floater here :)

Thoroughly disappointing experience with trying to book a float tank appointment. I called numerous times and there was no answer; even emailing the business was difficult. Even though I had a voucher, the person responding to the email clearly had no corresponding record of what the voucher included. From a customer service point of view this is nonsense: if you don't have someone to answer the phone then have a functioning online booking system.Once a booking was finally achieved by my partner the 'instructions' that come out are copious and much like reading through the fine print of a legal contract.I understand that the owner is operating a business and offering a service that requires careful measures to preserve the tank environment. That being said, the whole process leaves a feeling that this is an undertaking rather than a relaxing experience.As it turned out, the booking we had carefully planned weeks in advance had to be cancelled.Too hard, won't be back.

The atmosphere is wonderful. I was very nervous coming is with my partner for the first time and the owners were so lovely - Very informative, assuring and very very genuine kind people. Told me everything I needed to know over the phone before my appointment and also during the appointment. Great first experience of a sensory deprivation tank! Sauna was also very relaxing. Fantastic customer service! I will definitely be coming back for more services!
