Toukley & Districts Art Society

A friend of mine had paid a $50 membership fee that was compulsory for her art to be displayed. The narrow minded christians who run this facility were more than happy to take her money and lied saying it would be displayed but hadn't even displayed her art... Instead it was found in the back room and when asked why it wasn't out it was said to be too inappropriate as it has esoteric symbology. Symbols that represented the uniting of different viewpoints together to expand consiousness which in no way can be found to be inappropriate. What a joke, don't waste your money/time on this gallery. I question what this art gallery uses its profits on.

Local artists and classes. They have a gallery with saleable art on display. I am looking forward to their new coffee machine in the near future.

Very interesting display of arts and craft! Been to the coffee shop reasonable prices charged! The staffs are super nice. I recommend everyone to pay a visit there. Keep up the good work!

Great community of local artists and creative people sharing their skills and talents. Lovely staff who are willing to assist wherever possible. Enjoy a cuppa and a scone at the Kiosk. A friendly atmosphere and cultural stimulation, next to a beautiful park where families can relax have bbqs while their children play in an enclosed playground.

I love the coffee and hot chocolate they have a new coffee machine, and the scones and cakes are lovely and very friendly staff

Great place to enjoy the works of some very talented artists who are local. Also while you are there enjoy a coffee, tea and a scone or other refreshment they have. All reasonably priced.

I dropped by Tuesday afternoon after having a rough day to just grab a coffee I had never been there plus I’m new to areaI saw it was still open got to door with my mask on & asked is it still ok for coffee the ladies said yesAsked me to do QR codeI was amazed at the art work insideAfter checking in the lady asked what I wanted & gave her my orderShe then asked me for my medical passport/status to which I replied oh no it’s not required for a coffeeShe said they only do dine in coffeesVery disappointing ladies your attitude was unnecessary for a simple coffeeStop discriminating people & accept more might make a huge difference to your sales & customers & many would enjoy a takeaway coffee on the waterfront

Friendly staff, nice environment for artistic learning. Difficult to exit the driveway if doing a right turn!
