Do not use this company under any curcumstances. The repair to our Prado dragged on for months, with the head mechanic whingeing the whole time and telling us that Toyota didn't pay him enough to work there. Our car was there because the first engine that was put in failed, then the second one also failed while we were interstate. Rang the company, but they didn't want to know about. Work still wasn't done properly the second time. Totally useless.

Very honest and helpful staff. I did not end up buying the engine from them, but the guys gave me their valuable 15 minutes to provide great and honest advice without worrying about their sales too much. If I would need an engine work to do in the future I would definitely go for them.Highly appreciated!

Absolute nightmare experience. There are good and bad in every company but I must have dealt with the bad. Dishonest rude and couldn’t care less is what I got. Over charged and then wiped hands and tried to lie about thier mistakes and mechanical incompetence disgraceful attitudes. If I could leave no stars I would. Avoid this place.

Big thanks to Davor and his team at HM Gem. My Ute had a 22R long block fitted by them 15+ years earlier. When it came time for another rebuild I took it back to HM Gem for machining services. The service provided was exceptional and at a very reasonable price - why would I bother going anywhere else?. Very happy customer Supa

had a reconditioned engine fitted to my 80 series cruser and these people are the best ..ii carnt believe the difference ....i carnt thank yous enough ...if anyone needs an engine i can advise yous all dont go anywere else but HM GEM ..thanks guys ..amazing ...
