Relaxing venue with a nice view! Perfect for cheese lovers and a fresh vibe to the place! Good spot to bring the family our as they have kids activities.

A huge range of local and imported cheeses. Every style and type available. Very friendly staff and tastings available. The local Bries were to do die for. Great cafe as well, with a full menu offering as well a very nice alfresco area to eat and drink at that over looks the ba k of their property

If you like cheese, this is the place to go. They have a ridiculously impressive range of cheeses to either have on the beautiful, well appointed premises or take away for a picnic (or wherever you want to eat cheese). The service was fantastic (especially Mitch who was friendly, professional and made great recommendations). My only complaint is that it is counter service - table service so our group could sit and relax together rather than having to keep leaving the conversation to get more food / drinks would have made the experience 5 stars. We got The Big Board between 4 of us, which we added an extra serve of bread to towards the end, and it was enough to fill us up for lunch.

Friendly staff with great knowledge on the cheese! Had great recommendation from them on dining in. They had also make great recommendations for cheese to be brought home. Especially happy in their advise on how to bring it back to Singapore as gift! Kudos!

Cheeses from around the world are available here. The owner is obviously a true cheese lover, and they bring a taste of the best to the Swan Valley. They don't make cheese here. Platters are available, served beautifully, and there is lovely indoor and outdoor seating. You can enjoy the experience of having the cheese course at a fine dining restaurant, without having to bother with all those other courses! I notice they offer kids' helpings of cheese and crackers too. Take your time, it's not cheap, it's a special experience.

Good parking. Clean toilets. Good seating with a view. Great menu and choices. Water avail able beer and wine to . Interesting display and sampling of cheeses. Staff very helpful. The is a big area for kids to play in. Recommend if you like strong cheeses ask staff for recommendations on the stronger cheeses. Go there you can easly spend one hour there

Ordered a family set and enjoyed the treat. I was never a fan of cheese, never thought I could be, but The Cheese Barrel seeded some self doubt.There's something about mixing different flavours of cheese, jams and bread in a family setting that made this stand out.Had a little spillage accident but the staff took it up with a smile.

Took my husband here for his birthday. Such a gorgeous little place with a view and delicious platters. We enjoyed a great cheese and antipasto platter between us and he also got the wines to match which he really enjoyed. The olives are also fantastic. Headed nextdoor to get a few of the wines and do some more tastings before we left and took some cheese home as well.
