Direct Freight Express

left a card saying i needed to organise redelivery online or pick up, the website refused to let me do anything and i have been on hold with customer service for over an hr to pick up a 400$ worth parcel, will never use this service again

I ordered a $300 bassinet and it was just left on my front veranda for anyone to take thankfully they didn't and it was there when I got home but I was under the impression that if no ones home leave a card and the person rings to organise pickup I would not have been happy if someone going past my place took it my veranda is very open and not fenced in very poor delivery standards from the driver

I received my parcel 3 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered because the delivery driver didn’t feel like delivering it.I request signature only as it was an expensive piece of furniture. It was then left with no signature in the alleyway behind my apartment.The piece of furniture had been so badly damaged during the freight it was unable to be built.Direct express would not accept any complaints nor would they conduct an investigation or replace the piece of furniture that was damaged.

My father had a card left on his front door for missed delivery. He was not expecting anything so I called Freight express to check it was for him. He receives many parcels from courier drivers supposed to be delivering to Lot 1, but instead deliver to him at #1. The parcel was not for him and I provided detailed directions for Lot 1 although it is simply the property at the other end of the road less than 1km away. Yesterday he received another card so I called again. Same delivery but was told package had been returned to sender. Half an hour later I check their website and now authority to leave has been provided! So he will get a package that is not for him and have to do the courier's job that should have been done two weeks ago. Funny that the only way to contact customer service is by phone so I have no record of my first conversation other than my notes. I have an option to send email to sales but I am sure as it is not a sale enquiry, it would be ignored like my phone calls.

Excellent service from the friendly team in Beresfield. A well organised transport operation backed by hard working staff, working to get the job done. Pick ups are a breeze, i highly recommended.

Great delivery company. I wasn't home but I talked to the Delivery Man through my smart door bell and he left it at the door (first time I've ever used the doorbell like that).

They were helpful loading our goods onto our trailer. Unfortunately some of our stock was damaged in transit. I don't think it was a fault on their part but how it was packed prior to shipment to their depot.

I can see a lot of negative reviews here but I have to be honest and say that I had no issues with my delivery. The tracking was updated throughout the delivery process and they estimated the delivery time ro be around 10:30am. They were no more than 15mins outside of their estimated time. So I have to be fair and give them 5 starts im my case. Maybe they are trying to step up and change their game.Edit 20/05/2022: I had a second delivery with Direct Freight Services last week. I had wheels delivered from Sydney to Newcastle. They were delivered overnight and I was notified at each stage of the process. Again, can't fault them.

Parcel was meant to be delivered today. Never arrived. In fact has been local since yesterday. Might get it tomorrow. No solutions and plenty of apathy. Seems to be a common occurrence.

Had to collect a parcel that couldn't be delivered.
