Auto extra are up there with one of the worst businesses I’ve ever dealt with.I run an electrical business so after getting a new van decided to go with them for decking out the vehicle.I ordered a roof rack and a full shelving system. I made it perfectly clear what vehicle it was for(Toyota Hiace) I was told the parts would arrive in no longer than 2 weeks. So 2 weeks later I began calling wondering where my parts were. We don’t have them yet, don’t know when we will get them was their answer. Another week goes by and am ringing again to see the status.Oh we have ordered the wrong roof rack and only a section of your shelves have arrived was their reply. Also the parts for my shelves were the wrong size.Another week later I received a different roof rack than the one I ordered and was told this was my only option at this stage. I wasn’t overly thrilled but had to get the vehicle on the road by this stage.For the next few weeks I rang every 2 or so days to see where the rest of my (shelving) parts were? For weeks on end I was ignored and lied to about the status of the parts.Long story short I waited 8 weeks for a simple shelving system that I was told I would have in maximum 2 weeks. My business suffered as an effect of their poor customer service.I never received an apology, or any sort of alternative option. They continued to blame the manufacturer. I know this was a lie because I spoke to the manufacturer myself. All I received was rude, incompetent service.10/10 would not recommend.Trust me spend a little bit more and go to caddy or JaramEDIT ****In response to your reply, the only parts I returned was the 12 series shelf that you guys supplied me to fit in a 10 series frame. Again, incompetence on your behalf.Your supplier was not to blame. You guys didn’t order my parts after weeks of me ringing to check the status, and I had paid for them. Instead of blaming me, maybe train your staff to follow up on phone calls and orders of paying customers.

Absolutely shocking experience from this company. Receiving the car back I found someone's personal shopping/grocery list in the car, and that they had reset the trip meter, I mentioned this to the person who recommended them to me and said it wasn't such a big deal, he however was adamant to discuss it with them as he said it looked bad on his part.The owner then called me to explain that they have no idea how the shopping list got in there and that trip was reset due to the battery being pulled. He then stated that have security footage of my car stationary for the 32 hours they had the car (for a bullbar replacement) and stated it did not travel further than down their driveway. Once I heard this I was absolutely livid, the trip meter had been reset but it was not at 0km it was on 2.1km. I then said to him I had assumed they had took it around the block to make sure there were no rattles, however he stuck to his guns to say it never left their premise so he absolutely lied to my face prompting me to write my first negative review.After returning home, I went wind in the winch rope which they could not do due to not having the remote and discovered that it wasn't working. On further investigation I found the winch's power lead was not connected and I was able to reconnect it without removing the battery terminal as it has its own separate dedicated terminal, so even their excuse for the trip meter being reset was a lie.Adding insult to injury, he claimed they wouldn't take my car for personal errands as they have much nicer cars available to them. While that's an outrageous statement it probably stands to reason for them to take my car as I would be less likely to care, and to be honest I didn't really care until they started blatantly lying to my face.If that is not enough to get you to avoid this company I have attached photos of the damage they caused during installation and poor attempt of covering it up on a brand new ARB bullbar.

Went to Auto Extra on a recommendation.Rahil was an amazing help and credit to the business. Lots of knowledge and helped us find the right basket for our needs. Even gave me a hand fitting it to the rails.Also, had a colleague of his come and and help with removing some seized lockable ends.Will be returning to the shop for my future needs.

This place was recommended to be and let's just say I will not be recommending it to any other person alive, not even my worst enemy. The drill shavings was never cleaned up and with them being so small I didn't notice anything once the 4 hour job was completed. Just a pioneer on a dual cab hilux but anyway. I went to wash the car 8 days later and noticed all these marks every panel is covered. I call them up after the long weekend and get told that sorry the person who would deal with that is only back on Thursday and he will have a look at it then. The ute is less than 2 months old.

I had just purchased a new Subaru Forester form Melville Subaru and was in the market for a tow bar.I wanted a quality tow bar and also one that was professional fitted as I have seen many cars with a badly fitted tow bar.So after making a few enquiries about a tow bar I came to the conclusion that Hayman Reese was the way to go.I contacted them asking who stock their products and also what fitter they would recommendWithout hesitation they recommended Auto Extra” in Frobisher St in Osborne Park.The car was booked in for 1.30 pm and I spoke to a Nitin Shah as I had a few queries regarding the installation of the tow bar.I have to say what a gentleman Nitin was. He answer all my questions in a very professional manner and allay any fears that I may have had regarding the installation.He said that the car would be ready to collect that afternoon at 4.30 pm.In fact when we arrive there at 4.15 the car was already finished. I was very impressed with what I saw.I will be purchasing a Thule 925 Bike Carrier shortly and I know where I will be going. Needless to say “ Auto Extra “.In conclusion dealing with " Auto Extra “ in Osborne Park was a very enjoyable and hassle free experience."

Put a nudge bar onto my wifes outlander, did a great job, thank you. Lots of stock too, bull bars, nudge bars, lighting.

I very rarely leave reviews and it takes allot to impress me but I had to take the time to say how brilliant the staff and service were at Auto Extra today. Thanks in Particular to George who went above and beyond today to resolve a roof rack issue that was no fault of theirs. Despite the roof rack issue being no fault of theirs, George did everything in his power to help me and it has not gone unnoticed. Well done George and I hope this review leads to additional recognition from your managers as you deserve it.

Good workmanship, had a problem with a roof rack leaking they fitted and they fixed it, just need to work in your customer service, work with the customer not against them!

ECB bullbar and 12000lb carbon winch fitted today. Great job from Auto Extra in Osborne park. They even let me buy the bar at show prices in March and held it until the Y62 arrived a couple of weeks ago. Great service and fantastic workmanship.
