No, the issue was not resolved. My original warranty claim was lodged because gear changes were noisy and sometimes skipping particularly in second. The guy at Essendon Renault service centre said this was normal for this model". When I disputed this

Purchased a new Koleos from the team at Domonelli Sutherland recently, their service, communication and ease of doing business made it very easy for me, it was worth the trip from Wollongong. Extremely great customer service from the Sales and Service team. Thank you for your prompt and friendly and honest service at all times. One very happy customer and I just LOVE driving my Renault.

My 2016 Clio has only done 58,000 kilos and I had to pay $1100 to replace a faulty gearbox computer. A new starter motor for this car has cost me $1100 so far. They still want me to pay more to have it fitted. The parts can take 6 weeks to come from France. No replacement vehicle has been offered. I don't feel like this is a reliable car.

Bought a new Renault Koleos from South Morang Renault in March 2023. The R-Link2 navigation system is faulty, calls can be made but the receiver cannot hear what's been said. Was told by Renault South Morang that they don't know what's wrong & need to contact Renault France. They are now talking to France but they don't have a solution. My car is still with Renault Sth Morang and still no solution, apparently they have to tick their check list boxes to find the problem. Spoke to Renault Head Office - same answer. They won't change the R-Link system (because that won't fix the problem for them) so I need to wait till they find a solution & their boxes are ticked. I was given a loan car and was told by the dealership Mgr they've done the right thing so just wait till the problem is fixed. I paid $48K for a brand new car & it's still sitting at Renault Sth Morang & I'm driving their loan car. What next for me - contact Renault France & find out how they can help me and Consumer Affairs Australia. Worst Renault dealership, Ive bought 4 Renault cars in the past (all brand new), obviously Renault do not value their loyal customers.

Shocking customer service. Promised fixed price service for first 3 years, but nothing included in that service (only oil and oil filter change). When questioned Renault main office about other recommended items to be changed they told me that I have to pay for it. Completely false advertising. Be careful if you want to purchase Renault. That is pretend European car without customer service at all.Unfortunately unable to give 0 stars for customer service.

Renault head office customer service have no idea.Firstly their website states that for vehicles purchased before July 2020 to contact them re capped price servicing. I did that and was then asked where I lived and they put me through to my nearest service centre.Secondly I was extremely dissatisfied with the cost of the 48 month service - over $1100 (ironically my car has only done just over 31,000 due to Covid).I was informed that it's out of their hands as each dealership sets their own price - this is despite me being told by the Castle Hill Renault service dept representative that prices are set by Renault! She suggested I speak to the serviceManager and offered to put me through. Who did I get but the very person with whom I'd already had a long 'discussion' about the exorbitant cost.Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. It's really unfortunate because I really love my Renault Captur but their 'customer service' is non-existent.Addit 3/11/22Following a request from Renault Head office to send them my car details etc I did so.Today I received a reply advising me to follow it up with Castle Hill Renault as each 'our dealer network are independently owned and ran businesses that are in control of their own day to day dealings. Therefore, the charges will differ from dealer to dealer'!!

We were in Melbourne once for a medical trip and needed a radiator cap in an emergency. Essendon Renault were fantastic in finding the part but under no exceptions would Renault Australia do anything other than ship it overnight to Essendon Renault. Essendon Renault got no replies from Renault Australia when they tried to find an emergency workaround. Essendon Renault ended up posting it to the mechanic sorting out the car..And good luck getting parts if there isn't a dealer nearby. There is no dealer (currently) in Albury Wodonga and Renault's suggestion is to go Melbourne.... luckily there are ebay sellers in AU or Europe who will quickly supply OEM parts.I'm not interested in a generic reply to this review asking me to contact customer care to discuss - I've already done that and spoken to Glen the GM who was sympathetic.I'll never own another Renault.

Appualing and disgusting behaviour from Renault Australia. It has been 3 months since my initial contact about the next steps in getting our folding mirrors rectified on our brand new arkana RS Line due to it arriving without the necessary chip or control button due to a shortage. I have since made 3 calls in the 3 months to always be told I will get a call back. How an organisation cannot call a customer back once in the 3 month period is beyond me. RENAULT AUSTRALIA have been one of the worse companies to deal with and blatantly lie when advertising there vehicles. They are quick to deflect blame on the dealership when in fact any re calls arise from head office down to dealerships. I will be escalating the false advertising campaign by renaultan isnukt further. To rub salt in the wound I have seen many base model arkanas with folding mirrors.

3 months on and the issue is still not resolved! See previous review for details. I finally received my van back after 9 weeks being in their workshop for repairs (due to engine failure and unavailability of parts). I run a small business and my van is my livelihood. No van, no income! I had to get a rental vehicle and pay the costs by myself, even though my van was under warranty when the engine failed. Renault offered to pay for the rental costs at the end but until now I am yet to receive any funds! I have been chasing and chasing and yet Renault haven’t honoured their promise. I have this in writing, yet apparently the accounts department does not care! I am owed over $5000 in expenses, this is serious money to any small business, especially in the middle of a pandemic! I am struggling to see how Renault can excuse this poor customer service. They don’t care about their customers. I will have to seek professional advise from elsewhere if this is not going to be resolved asap.
