Very delicious and affordable food. The open kitchen is right in front of the tables so you can see how they prepare the food. The service is well prepared if you have some specific questions about the menu. Also the locations matchs well to the Thai food. Would totally recommend!

Edit: Dropped to 1 star due to ignorant response, I was being nice giving 3 stars. It wasn't preference, it was poor quality. My friend ate his because he chose to but also told me he didn't like it at all. Learn to take feedback and listen to your customers. Very rude. Avoid.Entre's were very nice, however the pad thai was terrible. I had two bites and left it. The waitress asked if I didn't like it and I advised that the chicken was over cooked and the rice was also not cooked well, she didn't seem to care took the dish and still charged for the terrible dish, I went to another restaurant to eat as was still hungry. I've come here before and the food was good, so disappointing, will likely not come back.

For the love of eating local. First time experience at Kwans and LOVED!Cosy interior and busy!! Love the open kitchen at the front where the magic happens. Food is delicious and so well priced. Great work to the team that run this place. Will be back.

Great place - small but cosy, on the loud street, yet comfortable and calming.We had padthai, tom yum and green curry, and all three were amazing, service was great, too.What's more important in the current hyper-inflation era, prices were very reasonable. 5 stars! :)

The National Theatre is just 5 mins walk, so we went for a quick dinner before the show starts. We had Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Masoman Curry, fried rice and also papaya salad. Overall the foods were fantastic. But fried rice is a bit bland. Maybe it is how they cook. The service is okay but maybe put on a smile to bring more energy to the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong the service was amazing, but a bit of smile won’t hurt.

This is a small venue and we were fortunate to get the last table before the man after us was not so lucky. I would recommend booking to avoid being turned away. I enjoyed the pleasant aroma of fresh flowers upon entry though my husband was perturbed by the absence of his go to Thai dish on the menu (chicken cashew nut stir fry). The prawns in my pad see ew were fresh, plump and juicy and we loved the peanut sauce that accompanied the flaky roti bread and chicken satay entree. Authentic flavours

I went to Kwan's table today with my family. Even though it looked busy, the food came out pretty quick. I loved the spicy pork neck salad and Tom Yum soup. The dishes at Kwan's table have so many flavours. It was abosolutely amazing. The best Thai restaurent I have ever visited. We will definitely be back. ❤

My new favourite place to eat in St Kilda, extremely friendly and welcoming staff, great atmosphere and the food was wonderful, great authentic flavours and well balanced. Very relaxed with the appropriate level of service. Plan to return before my holiday is over. We had prawn spring roll, fried enocki mushrooms and the roast duck red curry with steamed rice. Reasonably priced.
