Lovely.

After living in my car for 5 weeks with nowhere to go, I phoned Wesley Mission for help. They were very rude to me and told me that I had phoned the day beforr asking for help which I clearly did not. They told me that they couldn't help me because they were already helping 4 other families and to try elsewhere. I had been in contact with 5 other services that couldn't help me either. By this stage, I had become so ill by living in my car, vulnerable to people knocking on my window in the dead of night asking for money or cigarettes, that I had to be admitted into hospital 3 times. I am now on my deathbed and haven't been able to see my sons who were living with me prior to eviction for rent arrears. On the disability pension, I was unable to meet the costs of living and supporting 2 boys on my own as a single parent! !!!!! SHAME ON YOU WESLEY MISSION!!!! AND SHAME ON THE SERVICES FOR HOMELESSNESS WHO HAD ME SO SICK AND SUICIDAL THAT I WOULD RATHER BE DEAD THAN BE TREATED WORSE THAN A MANGY DOG!!! I HOPE YOU ARE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! !!

People at Wesley mission have been more than accommodating with my transfer from skills plus to Wesley mission, and I find that after the Easter break I will definitely benefit from wherever they decide to place me.
