Auto Masters Perth Northbridge

Got a full service done told me needed $5500 worth of work doing, just got my car back from another mechanic told me that all the stuff they wanted to do was not necessary at this point in time (6 months on from when they serviced it), won’t be using these again.

Used to be good, but service went down hill quickly as the previous manager left. I used to be their customer for years and would always follow the previous manager's advises as he would clearly explain his reasons, and try to save me couple bucks here and there, and the service was excellent. He quit, and the 2 services I had afterwards were horrible, especially the last one. I agreed for their quote of 3k to replace the suspension, and after the service? I lost 3k and got a damaged car. Constant creaking when I turn, and when I took the car to another place to check and service, it costed me 1k more to fix some of the creaking noise, and the whole suspension needed to be taken off and re-check which may cost even more. I'm not going to any Automaster ever again.To their credit, when I complained about the service directly using their form, they did offer to have the suspension re-check, but I declined the offer. They lost my trust, and I'm not letting them touch my car again in fear of further damagesEdit to provide my reply to the owner and prove that I'm not randomly putting negative reviews: I'm not using my real life details for online emails, so of course I won't appear in your database. I'm not coming back to Automaster no matter what. I left my review to inform other people, don't want any compensation or discuss anything.

Car didn't start the engine right around the corner, didn't know what to do. Decided to buy a battery, while walking to the buss stop spotted Automasters, went to ask if they selling batteries and told my problem- reception lady was kind to help me to identify the problem by sending one of the auto masters to check the car. Long story short - car fixed, working personal kind to help in emergency situation with good attitude. 5 star rating !!

In April of 2023 my battery mark came on my car due to a faulty alternator.So I had my car checked by a car shop here and they said it would cost $1300.But when we went to a nearby car store to have it fixed it was a repair that could be fixed for $532.The price was so different that I thought I was being cheated.By the way, it cost me $160 just to examine my car. Is this normal?It is not a very good memory.

Overpriced! Would not recommend.My car was booked in for a general service. I was then quoted 5.5k from them after the general service.They charged $90 for front wipers, I don’t know what sort of expensive wipers they are using!They quoted $600 for the front break pads/ rotor replacement.I got a quote from another mechanic for $430. The list goes on. I was advised from other mechanics that their quote was way overpriced

I use to recommend this place to my family, friends, and 5 stars Google reviews. Even got my wife to bring her car here instead of Toyota Dealership. My wife’s car was last serviced at 91500km where they’ve claimed to test the coolant, now at 99,000km first the aircon pumped out heat then a week later Engine Check light came on. So popped the hood to find only stains of coolant in the overflow tank. Just to see how much is left, I drained the remaining coolant into a paint tray and found that my bladders had more liquid than the radiator. So I flushed the system and topped it up with coolant then checked for leaks. No leak and engine check light went off and the air conditioner is working again. Once bitten twice shy, we won’t be coming back or recommending this place.
