We live in 31Garfiled St Apartment and the lift has not been working for the last few weeks. Building Manager told us that Kone has ordered parts and will replace it today 29/4/22, but it didn’t happen again. Everytime Bm call the there is no proper response. It has been 5 weeks we have to use fire stairs to go to our unit. Thanks to Kone because of who my 72 years old mother cannot go anywhere coz of her limited mobility. Is Kone going to compensate for her mental health which is cause by Kone? I can’t believe this big company don’t have any parts stored in Australia. It’s just seem lack of customer service from KONE. Please get some proper answer than generic replies you do to your every reviews here. How insensitive people are working with Kone who doesn’t care about others!

We have been waiting for Kone to fit parts to our 2 lifts for 2 years - cannot even get an answer out of them in spite of continually sending emails. Very keen to get the contract for our 2 lifts but do not seem keen to respond to clients after that. Extremely disappointing.

The 2 KONE lifts in our building consistently break down on a monthly basis. Each time it takes weeks for KONE to repair. Residents would have to wait 10-15 minutes for lifts and are crowded into them like sardines- terrible especially given COVID.Recently, both broke down simultaneously and we were forced to go down 21 flights of fire stairs instead. Can you imagine what it would be like for our 80 year old neighbours? Please get your act together.

We live in Campsie Apartment and the lift has not been working for the last few weeks. Strata told us that Kone has ordered parts and will replace it last Monday 4/4/22, but it didn’t happen and the reason was because of rain, so the parts delivery was delayed. They then promised us to fix this Today ( Tuesday, 12/4/22), but it didn’t happen again. They said parts will be arriving this afternoon and will fix tomorrow. It has been 2 weeks we have to use fire stairs to go to our unit in level 5. Really not recommended KONE to anyone! Poor service! Residents are suffering and most of the residents has kids/elderly and some are pregnant.

Kone is the manufacturing as well as repair company for the lift that we have in Garfield street, Wentworthville apartment. Its been more than a month that our lift is broken and false promise has been made by the company in terms of ETA of parts arrival for the lift. For a company like Kone we don't expect such delays in the name of supply chain problem as it is a global problem and we have seen companis solving such issues with limited disruption in current scenario. Therefore, Kone is considered as a unreliable company moving forward in terms of their handling of lift services and will not recommend to any contractor or builder to install lift from them.

Terrible repair time frames and sloppy job.A lift at our apartment building have been out for around 5 weeks (and counting). Took them 3 weeks to import some parts (cables, and OK, it's understandable that it takes time to import parts) , then when replacing the cables it took them another week to retense them. While retensing, they discovered some other parts that needed repair/maintenance. Now they say they don't even know how much longer it will take them to fix that other thing. How can you ensure they safety of your products when you find some things need to be repaired because you are replacing other parts? Everything that needed to be maintained should have been identified during your first inspection and fixed in parallel while you were waiting for the ropes. Why weren't those other defects picked up straight away and fixed while you were waiting for the other parts to arrive? It makes me wonder if you would have picked up those other issues if the cables didn't need to be replaced from the get go.As a user, this is REALLY concerning and I have no idea how you assure proper safe operation of your lifts picking up issues this way. Moreover, a shopping mall I used to visit would have their escalators out of service every other month for longer than a week every time they broke down. Finally, my previous building also had kone elevators and lifts would break down repeatedly and also take weeks to fix. It's so bad that I will start avoiding renting in buildings with your products. You really need to step it up.

We live in 31Garfiled St Apartment and the lift has not been working for the last few weeks. Building Manager told us that Kone has ordered parts and will replace it last saturday 23/4/22, but it didn’t happen again. Everytime Bm call the there is no proper response. It has been 3 weeks we have to use fire stairs to go to our unit in level 4.And also many living with babies and parents its very very hard to move through stairs. Even postponing the some of our deliveries due to lift not working. Its really worst service from KONE and very very Poor service!

My building has a KONE lift, and it is simply awful. It not only breaks down often but also, KONE never has replacement parts to promptly fix it and we end up weeks with one lift operating.

Didn’t want to give one star but had to just to write a review. Live in apartments on Klein’s Road & our lifts have been out for almost 2 weeks. Was told it will be fixed within 2 days. Poor service & don’t care about the people that live here especially when it comes to emergencies. I’ve had major surgery & had to walk up 5 levels of stairs which has caused more pain & longer recovery. For an organisation that is big like Kone but don’t have back ups is very poor. This isn’t the 1st or 2nd time this has happened. I wouldn’t recommend Kone to anyone because they suck!!!

Gentleman in ute CX-21-KO is an exemplary driver who follows road rules AND courtesy by braking behind the line as required by law, and allowing me adequate time to cross the road! Give this man a payrise he is a great example for the company.
