Helpful. Fixed problems asap. Wifi great/awesome. Room needs tlc. Beds need to be more comfortable but they were clean. Just too hard for us. Would be a huge improvement if they put an on demand hot water system on each room. We only got cold showers.

I've worked in hospitality and travelled around Australia and stayed in a bunch of places, even working in a roadhouse on the Nullabor, so I've seen nice places and not so nice places.This is a lovely wee place, stayed 4 nights as was travelling around the area's with my mum. Price very reasonable, rooms clean, beds comfortable and shower was 5 stars due to great water pressure. If you're hungry, the Ocean Crest Café is again very reasonable priced. Can agree best Fish n Chips in the Victor Harbour area. The only cons I can come up with are what personally I prefer, so won't say as unfair as we all have our personal preferences.Unfortunately everyone can have a different experience as you can tell from reviews. But like I said, my experience had no issues and the staff here are very helpful. I didnt have any of the problems others have had. So I can only tell you my experience.Dont think you'd like to see photos of the room after I've un-made the bed, got dishes drying on a towel and wet towels hangin up in the bathroom. So I wont.

No toiletries, no plates or glasses, no hairdryer, no phone to call reception,no information book. Bed was comfortable however when we pulled back the sheets, the mattress was stained and so were the pillows. Not clean at all.Did not see the owner once or offered to service room as we were there for 2 nights.Cleaning products were left on a table next to our room all day but did not see a cleanerOn their website states pool and wifi but that was not true!Permanent residents live there and they were very seedy characters, music blaring and they looked like they were on another planet.Never would I stay there again or recommend this dump to anyone!

Lovely quiet motel in Victor harbour. A little overawed difficult to find. Given discount for cash. Would definitely stay there again

If I could give it a zero I would because the room wasn't even clean at all there was spiders everywhere and the pool was dirty would not recommend

Looking for somewhere to stay where:There's no toilet paper?Your towels are neatly folded, but obviously recently used?The crockery and cutlery is random & there is no way to wash or dry it?Your UHT milk in the fridge has been opened and used?You are probably sharing the well made bed with the DNA from the last couple that stayed there?Your door is left unlocked, aircon and lights on?The lamp is broken?The place is stained and generally dirty?Your belongings go missing?And, the owners are rude & evasive - no-one picks up when you ring to pick up or drop off your key, or complain?Then Ocean Crest is the place for you!Honestly - save your money & stay away. Yuck!

I called up to see if we could check in early, they said yes, got there and room wasn't ready, in fact we waited untill 20 mins after check in time, still wasn't cleaned properly, we had no plates, glasses, or cutlery, was rectified, but shouldn't have to ask for it, they were nice people but not what I expected from a $157 a night, the bolt on the door was broken, the towels smelt bad, and to top it off the shower had no hot water, me and my kids had to shower at my friends unit next door. The owners were nice, but it was in a bad area and there was an arrest at 2. 45am with a Tennant.I would never stay here again . I've stayed in budget hotels before but never had such a bad experience or not felt safe in my room.

really kind staff, good location, short walk from the beach and there is a restaurant that is attached to the motel which has really well priced, yum food. comfortable beds and good water pressure in the bathrooms.

It was cheap compared to other accommodation in the area, and in a good location, yet I won’t be staying again. The carpet was unvacuumed, the bathroom sink looked as if it had never been cleaned, bugs were flying around like an airport, windows were broken, and the smell of tobacco would emanate through the wall while the neighbour was smoking a ‘ciggy in their shower. Additionally, the permanent residents were ‘seedy’ and made us feel unsafe. I would only recommend staying for one night if you really needed to save money, otherwise, cough up the extra $ and stay elsewhere. We saw the owner briefly when we checked in, but after that we never saw him or any staff again.
