A very poor attitude to visitors who spend a lot of money in town. I was concentrating on not stalling in the soft sand at the entrance to Cable Bay Beach during my first visit to the beach and did not see the sign saying that vehicles were only permitted north of the rocks. The ranger promptly came over and issued me a fine without a warning. Warn first time offenders and move them on but fining them straight off is a tad draconian. What a welcome to Broome. Oh well, goodbye Broome. Won't be back nor will I encourage anyone else on many and various social media traveling & camping pages. If I could give no stars and still comment I would.

I called yesterday on behalf of SAFE Broome and spoke to Bec. She was helpful and informative and answered all my questions. Great customer service. Thank you

Just spent four days here and have throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the free camp at Cable Beach, although it was a trial, please keep it going. We have dined in three restaurants, went on a tour with Horizontal Falls (well worth the money) spent a small fortune on pearls, picked up vehicle parts and purchased supplies to carry on exploring this great country.Without the free camping area (you obviously need more) we would have passed bye as we are fully self contained and refuse to pay exorbitant park fees.Suggest another couple of dump points (the big area opposite Woolworths would be ideal) and better water access as what is currently there is absolutely chaotic as cued for over an hour creating a safety hazard.

I absolutely love living here in Broome, but there is so much mismanagement going on, the place is looking a mess, the shire president even comments rude replies on question posts on the broome Facebook noticeboard, rather than showing some leadership and responsibility he simply just bullies people. I'm saddened that people are treated this way..

If I could give no stars I would. The City of Broome continues to support its Sister City relationship with the Japanese town of Taiji. Each year, the town of Taiji conducts a daily hunt and slaughter of dolphins between September and March. Broome Councillors are very much aware of the practices of Taiji and still, with this knowledge, continue to hide behind bureaucratic red tape and continue their association with Taiji. They are cowards of the worst kind.

Very very very poorSo appalling the way the shire treats visitors here when trying to find affordable caravan park accommodation with petsWill definitely be sharing our experience with others as we continue to travel around. We were advised by many others how badly visitors are treated here but refused to believe it. Sadly our experience is the same as others have described. The shire council appears to be at the Centre of the problem with self interest amongst councilors paramount

Why don't you cater for the influx of tourists in caravans properly Broome. No where to stay! Disgusting!! You know the town fills up at this time of year, yet no overflow overnight parking provided.

The reason for my 1 star rating is as followsJust came back from a trip from your town myself and 2 daughter's where there to celebrate a birthday.I was truly blown away with how dirty your town is with no mowing of any of your verges and lot's of rubbish and glass on every bit of road we walked on or over. What are your garden crew doing.I took my camera out once to take a picture of the famous Cable Beach which was lovely, but other than that it was just really sad that I didn't feel there was anything worth taking a picture of .The hotel where we stayed was the only place I gave a 10 out of 10 and all the beautiful Frangipani tree's and a couple of restaurants we attended. You really do have a great marketing group as they talk your town up as being beautiful but sadly it isn'tPlease consider taking a lot more pride in your town.

I flew 2 days to get here. Pick up your act. The town is a dirty, filthy place and you should all be ashamed. If everyone in Urulu can get job training and work, why can I not sit on a seat to wait for a bus because I am surrounded by alcohol bottles and rubbish and people are asleep on the seats.
