We had Nick play acoustic and DJ for our wedding in December and he was amazing. Had so many comments from guests about how great he was. I couldn't have been happier with him on the night, definitely helped make everything run smoothly. Highly recommend Nick for anyone looking for easy listening acoustic music and great dancing music that keeps the vibe going and guests dancing.

Nick was outstanding and after the wedding people have been commenting & wondering how we knew Nick and how he knew us so well! Nick treated us like he had known us for years. We hired Nick for the full package (Ceremony, canapes & reception acoustic, MC & DJ) & we were flawed by his talent, and it showed on the day as well, his acoustic skills were outstanding. Nick checks-in with you throughout the whole process and even on the day making sure our requests were met, he really was a team player & wanted to be a part of the action by pumping up our guest prior to the reception entrance as any good MC should as we threw out wedding merch band t-shirt, Nick happened to score himself one & wore it throughout the whole night. Nick definitely exceeded the brief and made our day! Nick even assisted our Matron of Honour who not only sung our first dance but also assisted with her speech and played the backing track of ''Born to Try by Deltra Goodrem'' as she changed the lyrics to be all about our love story. We would highly recommend Nick Read Entertainment.

Even before we embarked on the journey of planning our wedding my now wife and I knew that we wanted someone that would be instrumental (no pun intended) in our big day and themselves be a lasting memory in one of the greatest days of our lives together. Nick Read did exactly that and more. From first seeing Nick at a friends wedding I knew that he was the man I wanted to sing at my wedding. His impeccable voice and guitar skills were magical to listen to as he sang them with ease. I remember clearly going up to him and telling him about my wedding, how great he was and that’s id love if he’d do my wedding. Long story short we booked Nick in and from the get go he was extremely professional and we had an initial consultation about how he handles things and his various packages etc (which is all very clearly explained on his website).Nick was also very much accommodating to our needs whether that be singing religious songs or taking on board the constant changes we had to our songs days before the wedding!Nick was a true champion when we braved the rain in our ceremony when the weather decided to turn on us. He sang his heart out in the rain for us and did so without hesitation or complaint. Not only is Nick a great singer but also was an amazing MC during our reception. We were so relaxed knowing that everything was running smoothly & to schedule and Nick was great at checking in on us and keeping us updated & asking if we needed anything. He was also a grade A DJ, delivering hit after hit that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. He was super responsive to requests which kept everyone enjoying & happy!All in all Nick was the absolute best to deal with and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding singer, DJ and MC for our wedding day and we’d highly recommended him to anyone look for high quality service wherever you are in your wedding or event planning journey.The only thing we would change about Nick would be that we wish we could’ve had him for longer into the night!

Honestly, Nick was hands down the most incredible, talented and beautiful human to work with. He bought such an amazing energy, not to mention felt like we knew him forever. We planned our whole wedding including venue choice around his availabilities.So unbelievably kind and accommodating. All of our guests couldn’t put him on a higher pedestal which was so deserved. I cannot recommend Nick highly enough! Even though my husband has already left a review, I still needed to leave a review myself - that’s how amazing Nick is!Nick was fantastic in the lead up to our wedding day, giving us the best advice when it came to music selections and understood the vibe we were going for on the day. No request or question was ever too much, and he was always responsive and highly organised.Our guests raved about the acoustic set and he had such an extensive song list to choose from. Nick also knew the mother of the bride was a huge Shannon Noll fan and played two songs especially for her - above and beyond service! He created the perfect atmosphere for the cocktail hour and formalities and has such a beautiful voice.As a DJ, Nick kept the dance floor pumping all night and really created that fun, party atmosphere we were looking for. Almost all of my guests commented on how great he was on the day, and how accommodating of song requests he was.Nick was one of my favourite vendors on the day and more importantly is such a stand up person. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Nick was more than we could have hoped for. His service was exceptional and his voice was even better. He was able to help us with suggestions for picking songs when we were unsure. His preparation kit also made things super easy. We got rave reviews from our guests who all absolutely loved the music. Nick was truly amazing from the first meet and greet we had right through to the last song played. My husband Blake and I can’t thank Nick enough for making our day feel so special. Nick made the whole planning process effortless and we felt so at ease with our music choices. The acoustic renditions played for our ceremony were beautiful and evoked all of the emotions at the right time. The dance party after dessert started with a bang and Nick played all of our favourite songs as well as the party starters to get our guests on their feet. We loved having Nick at our wedding and really appreciated all he did for us!Planning with him was very easy and his wide selection of songs he can perform provides great variety. He is personable, thoughtful and very fun which just added to our enjoyment of our wedding day.We and our guests were encapsulated by his singing throughout both canapes and the dinner service and it really set a great tone for the evening.
