Awesome experience. Food was tasty. Service was great. The 14-hour Beef brisket cut like butter. The hickory sauce on the pork ribs were the right amount of tangy and sweet. The buffalo chicken wings was the best in the region. Highly recommend this place.

What a brilliant little BBQ treasure this place is. Sunday evening on Mt Tambourine and we end up here. Fried pickles are totally worth a go. Full, happy and shhhhllleeeeeepy now.

Tucked away is this beautiful little restaurant which is a must to dine in. A friendly welcome by lovely staff, with quick and prompt service. You come here to sample the slow cook meats and you will not be disappointed. We can highly recommend the ribs and the brisket, just so tender and fall apart. The kids pasta was delicious, as were the cocktails. Absolutely divine.

Nice quaint little restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. as others have mentioned you will most likely need a reservation. Cocktails were really good with a nice variety available.We had the pork belly bites as an entree and they were really good. nice maple flavour and melt in your mouth pork belly.ribs were nice, although slightly over cooked and as such didn't fall off the bone nicely. brisket was perfectly cooked and one of the best ive had, although could've used a bbq sauce or something to accompany it. wings were really good.definitely worth a visit.

Little restaurant in a little group of shops in Tambourine. It’s a cute little place with atmosphere. The food is cooked by a couple of young people in the back Portions are massive and they have some signature dishes that are awesome. Ask them what they recommend, but expect a very meat oriented menu.I had the 8-hour slow cooked ribs which were very messy but tasty. Would have been good to have some wipes for hands and fingers (and faces) since there is no way not to get messy while eating them.The toilet is in a little carpark at the back of the property and the lights didn’t work when I went in. Since it’s the only way to get your hands and face clean it would have sense for them to put some focus on that specifically.All in all nice food for a reasonable price, good service. Happy with them.

As a tourist with a family of 5 coming from Singapore, I felt so welcomed by the friendly staff of Hickory Slow. I truly appreciate their warmth. The food is just as amazing as their service. We ordered a lot. We had both the spicy wings and honey wings, meat combo for 2 and few more dishes including non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails. The beef brisket was so tender! The spicy wings are real delicious. If you're Asian, the spicy wings are not spicy at all. But they are full flavoured. The ribs were thick and meaty. The mustard dip added an extra texture to the meal. Highly recommended if you're staying on Tamborine Mountain for 2 or 3 nights.Take note: Make a reservation! We didn't but fortunately they created a space outside for 5 of us and then later for another 4 for our friend's family.

The food is fresh and tastes good. The quality of the meat is the best I've seen in Brisbane. The decoration style is American, very characteristic. Their wine is also very good, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic are highly recommended.

Hickory never disappoints! We hadn't visited for some time and were delighted to find the food and service remains excellent. The brisket was absolutely delicious as usual as were the chicken wings. Highly recommended!!
