Britta helped me with some fabric for a home upholstery job. She was very open to give advice and offerered a great range of quality fabrics. She was good with communication and even let me take sample books home to make the right decision. I'm really happy with the product she ordered from Sweden and it was delivered very quickly. My Art Deco lounge was looking rather worn and weathered after several generations of wear and tear, so i began a search for someone to restore it. I found Britta via the dumped and ditched website and it was exactly what i was looking for. Britta has an extensive range of fabrics to choose from and was very helpful with suggestions on what would work best for my project. My lounge did need structural repairs and i was consulted throughout each step of the restoration process.The end result is a gorgeous, original, quality made lounge that looks fabulous. I can thoroughly recommend Britta for all your upholstery requirements.

Dumped & ditched came to the rescue with my very old, decrepit and very much loved comfortable chair. The service was friendly, respectful, thorough, helpful, patient all along the way. My chair is excellent, beautifully restored. It's exactly the way I wanted it to be. As someone with old injuries, the comfort I've experienced since restoration over a year ago far surpasses all expectations.

Britta and team transformed a grimy old dresser, taking off layers of stain to reveal a beautiful piece with lovely warm wood, detail picked out, exquisite metal handles (and not to mention drawers running smoothly). A great experience, it was only a few days from first chat through to pick up and delivery back home. My grandmother would be delighted with the piece - we now have an heirloom - thank you Britta!

I was introduced to this business by another top rated upholsterer and after a brief phone call I found Britta to be knowledgeable and experienced which immediately gave me confidence that I was dealing with the right business. I had my B&B Italia lounge expertly repaired. The turn around time, communication and price were all very good. It was excellent experience.

My dealings with Britta and Dumped and Ditched started pre-Covid, when I purchased 2 cane chairs, tartan clad, with lots of ‘potential’! Britta could not have been more accommodating, patient and inspiring in her dealings with me. She recovered the chairs we bought, plus made our existing outdoor chairs look like newly bought additions. I could not recommend Dumped and Ditched enough!! And I am certainly planning on Getting Britta’s advice and expert work in order to add some further amazing furniture to our home.

I chanced upon a pair of 1960s Danish Capella Lounge Chairs by Illum Wikkelso for N Eilerson and kept them for years with the original worn leather. I'd always wanted to restore them but wanted a wax finish on the timber rather than a shiny lacquer. Britta was just the person for the job! She has incredible taste and gave me the best advice on fabrics. I love my new/old chairs and give them admiring looks on a daily basis. I'd definitely recommend dumped & ditched.

I walked in off the street, was immediately welcomed by all the staff and felt inspired to order a new cushion! Britta gave great advice re fabric choices and she created such a high quality and uniquely designed cushion in just a few hours. A real statement piece. Highly recommend Dumped and Ditched.

Could not recommend more highly!Britta did such a brilliant job restoring our 1820s oak chest of drawers - we are so delighted with the result. Customer service was 5* and it was incredibly good value for money. So much better (and cheaper!) than trying to replace it with something modern and of less good quality.The result is stunning!
