I was aiming to organise a Canape Function for my wife's birthday celebration, and Matt from Yellow Diamond Catering came highly recommended through a friend in the catering space.It was easy to exchange emails, look through their extensive menu offering, and then whittle down to a selection of canapes. My choice was:- duck parfait, a l'orange gelee, postpone pecan puff- summer grigio prawn, avocado & chilli, corn bread- crispy skinned barramundi, steamed spinach, lemon cream sauce- roast mediterranean vegetable & olive tart, chickpea creme- braised beef brisket, fondant potato, cherry tomato- three cheese, saffron arancini, garlic mayo- mini chicken & vegetable pie, white sesame seedIt was not specifically mentioned in the literature - and I did not fully appreciate this during the planning process but - you get a chef show up early for the event, prepare each canape fresh, explain what we were eating, and clean up as he went. This was not just a spread of 7 canape items over an hour - but it made the event and the eating experience of each canape added to the celebration.The canapes were generous, were well-paced, never rushed, and stretched what I thought was a morning tea into a mini brunch for myself and my guests.The feedback I received from the guests was extremely positive. We agreed that the food served exceeded all other 'corporate' style canape events we've previously attended. While all of the choices were utterly delectable, the most popular ones yesterday were the duck parfait, the summer prawns, the barramundi, and the vegetable tart.Matt indicated that they aim to provide a hassle free" experience - and they did. Diamond catering is the best in perth city , food is delicious well presentable. Not talking about the desert is 100% very delicious. I will always do my catering with them, and recommend everyone to do their cater with them. Best best best all
