We have been here time and time again. We went with a group of 14 on the weekend and were not disappointed, they were able to bring all our meals out together and in a timely fashion. The meat is always of the highest quality, and sauces are not oily or runny. Will be back again!Edit: went with a group of 18 just recently, we got our own section of the dining room and we were sure to be annoying to take orders from. We were celebrating a 30th and couldn't stop talking. This place is great for couples and large groups alike. The food? Of course it was amazing yet again

Very discriminating to the browns.So I went to dine in here and these are my observations. The hostess/ owner was extremely rude.She has clear partition in her restaurant of where Aussies / white sit and where Brown ppl will sit.It was very cold and we had a toddler with us, so we asked her to turn on the heat of our side which she simply refused. When we requested to move to other part of the restaurant where Aussies/ whites were sitting and was warm she said the seats are reserved (there were only 2 seats occupied and almost 5-7 empty)We were waiting for our order and requested the appetiser first then main course. She got main course first and was ignorant of the request we made.Never going to this place again. It’s not that food is exceptional but hospitality sucks. Very very discriminating….

Had an entree, a salad, white wine, and a desert. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I definitely need to come back for a main meal.

Excellent food and great service. My partner and I both ordered the share plates for one (an excellent idea so that you can try a little bit of everything). We were both very impressed with the price, serving size and of course the taste of the dishes. Will definitely be coming back to eat again!

No t Happy!Ordered the chicken Tikka masala tonight 14/12/22Worst dish I have ever had. Not impressed at all.Very disappointed I wasted my money. Only chose this place as it was close using Uber.Never again

Very flavoursome, delicious, authentic indian cuisine. The food is prepared with natural ingredients which I love. I have a sensitive tummy so being able to eat Indian food here is a big deal for me! We met the owner/ head chef, who was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend! (They even have Gluten free, lactose free and vegan options).

14 years ago we regularly enjoyed take away meals from Clay & Coal until we moved away.We are nearer now and were happy to find the menu still excellent. We dined in for an evening meal recently and were very impressed with the friendly service. The garlic prawns and samosas were excellent. The fish tikka and lamb rogan josh were beautifully presented and the naan bread and roti were piping hot and very tasty. Highly recommended.

The food is excellent! The friendly staff and excellent service make you feel welcome. This is a great restaurant. Even the bathrooms are clean and tidy.

Our first and last i suppose. Serving whites is okay but serving a brown you have to put on an attitude. The lady or the hosters taking orders and serving food is so rude, but i think she is just rude to brown coloured people as seeing her servings whites was with smiles while our Entreè was slid down the table on a plate. We wore the same warm clothes as everyone but we were treated badly. They should provide equal service to all. As equal payments for the food is paid by all customers without any differences.
