On 19 February 2022, I purchased the Bayer (240V drill BDHM16) Demolition hammer via the Sydney Tools website.At the time of purchase, the website stated that the product would be available for pick up at Sydney Tools Mitchell between 5 - 7 business days.It has now been a total of 8+ weeks and I am yet to receive the product. During this time, I have followed up on multiple occasions via phone, the online complaints portal and in store - yet I have been unable to achieve a resolution. I have been told by numerous employees that the product was in various warehouses and that “they weren’t sure what was happening”.Given the fact that I have allowed multiple weeks for Sydney Tools to deliver the product through an internal process, I raised the potential resolution of having it shipped by a third party carrier. The Mitchell store manager, Rob, stated that his managers advised that postage would be “too expensive”.I have spent a number of hours continuously following up on the status of the product, which is costing me both time and money.The staff, particularly at Mitchell, are extremely rude and unprofessional. Nothing has been done to rectify the issue nor any compensation give to make up for the loss time. It’s pathetic that I had to PHYSICALLY go into the store, seeing as no one can ever return my calls after promising to “follow it up”.I have spent thousands of dollars with this company yet can’t even get an issue as simple as this resolved.

Got charged above the ticketed price for an item. I mentioned it to the guy who served me and he said that the price went up today. I reminded him that he was with me and confirmed the item was $165, not the $175 he was invoicing me for, and I was told that if he gave it to me for that price, his manager would be upset. Extremely poor service. Exceptional range, however the fact that the ticketed price does not seem to matter when you go to pay has made me take all future business elsewhere.Cannot recommend to anyone.

BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with a store. Bought a chainsaw 10 months ago, broke down after 6 weeks. Repair" took 3 months to return; Still broken; another 3 month to repair; Still broken. Unable to provide a new machine

Staff at Mitchell store that served me didn’t seem to like he’s job. Poor customer service and wasn’t really helpful. I felt quite uncomfortable with the way he was talking to me. Tried to sell me the SP tools digital multimeter $63 when I request for a cheaper model just so I can check my car batteries voltage. When behind the counter there was heaps of cheaper options. Advised I should go for the SP one instead which has better readings/diagnostics. Worse customer experience last time I went there I was greeted by a much nicer staff.One of the reasons why I’d rather stick to online shopping.

I returned 2 Daytona tools to the Mitchell store several months ago. One of the items didn’t work when I bought it. Sydney tools have done nothing towards replacing the tools since I returned them. I have followed them up on several occasions and gone to their store to make enquirers. I am looking to report them to Fair Trading as what they are doing is illegal

It should be convenient to be able to walk in the store to look at the power tools. Just wish they were unboxed and put on display. So check out the website first then come and pick up from the store.

Twice now I've bought tools online for click and collect at my local store, only to find out several weeks later after chasing them up that they are on back order and have no ETA, with the manufacturer not even having stock of the particular tools, let alone Sydney Tools having them in stock.The first time I waited 4 months before I took my money back. After getting my refund I went back on the site to see what they did actually have in stock, only to find out that the items I had been waiting 4 months for, were all still showing as in stock".This time round I (stupidly) bought more tools via click and collect

Hi guysBe careful, these prices’ tags are not for the tools above them. Also, in case of returning an item make sure they REFUND you not CREDIT you. That's what happened to with then. To Sydney tools Michale removes these bloody confusing prices tags.

Don’t buy from here. Tools break down in weeks and there’s no warranty. No replacement, credit or refund. Repair could be 4 weeks or 4 months. They have no idea.
