On a long weekend surprised to see them actually open or once as usually closed. We entered at 2.29 to order coffees and were rudely told coffee orders had finished at 2.30, but the barista's were still busy making coffee. Website states they are open until 3pm. Won't be going there again.

Two visits in two days.Date / time of visit: 7 February 2023 @ 1:20pmDate / time of visit: 8 February 2023 @ 2:30pmBeautiful French bakery. Beautiful food. Lovely location. This was a very nice surprise on our drive through Creswick. We saw the name and decided to stop. So glad we did. We liked it so much we went back the next day. Cakes and breads baked in store. Great quality. Great taste.

Dreadful Experience in Lovely CreswickI actually had my $6.50 for coffee (it cost $7.20 btw) shoved back at me after spending over $70 for lunch, saying their soy milk doesn’t froth for extra froth and I should get my coffee elsewhere!I only wanted what I ordered and paid for. No one said it wasn’t possible when I ordered. No one in the 4 countries I’ve lived in, the 5 Aussie States/territories I’ve worked in, the 18 countries I’ve visited, has EVER been so rude. When I said I’d prefer to have all my money back and go elsewhere for the whole meal, she ignored me.I politely pointed out that i had had the same coffee just the day before there (and in the shop next door as well, where it was delicious), and it wasn’t a problem (just supporting local business), the owner said they shouldn’t have done it and she would tell her staff off! YikesThe food wasn’t THAT special enough to be treated like that! The shop next door has lovely owners. Go there - anywhere - instead. And after you’ve had lunch, go to The Farmer’s Wife shop for something beautiful. I did. It cheered me up.

Such a delicious little bakery - I can see why people come specifically to Creswick to eat here! They have absolutely delicious French pastries and other cakes, it was difficult to choose what to order, however the lovely person who served me helpfully gave recommendations.Their croissants and other pastries are delicious, I don't know if they're authentically French but they were light and buttery and flaky all at once. The coffee was great too, I appreciate a country town bakery that offers good soy milk. They had a small selection of French pantry items as well; mustard, vinegar, salt etc, along with some coffee paraphernalia. There aren't heaps of seats but the customer turnover for dining in is very fast so you won't have to wait long for a seat!

Worst customer service. Tuesday lunchtime and fully staffed - not too busy. A male in his 40s ignored me waiting at the counter and served three customers (who arrived after me). Even the other customers said 'wasn't he first' but he just ignored them and served other people. The other staff just watched this happen - they didn't even attempt to serve me. After four customers I had to leave.Won't ever be coming back and sharing my poor experience with anyone who asks.

Stopped by this small town of Creswick while we were driving through and found this hidden gem of a cafe. The coffee is really good 9/10, they bake fresh pastries on site, their croissants are amazing. There is also a selections of cold roll to choose from. Would come back next time we pass through.
