IGA Local Grocer Turramurra
I rushed to the store to buy milk for the kids and made it a few minutes before 8pm (closing) only to find the doors shut and staff leaving. I politely knocked, (was let in) asked for 2 cartons of milk, promised to be out of the store before 8pm and pay them cash exact change (or even a tip). I was refused servIce and told no again after escalating to the mgr. I then drove to Coles.... sorry guys, I believe in supporting small business but please give me a reason to shop with you. It wouldn't have been hard to put a smile on my face with a little welcoming service and you still would have been out the door on time.

Good range for a local store, quality fresh produce, decent special offers and reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and their bakery selection (they stock a lovely sourdough loaf) is my favourite of all the local and major grocery stores in the area.

Convenient with a decent range of products. However the range has decreased since COVID but I'm starting to think there are other reasons. than shortages with suppliers. The pricing is expensive (which you'd expect for the convenience, but maybe too expensive Also, which greatly annoyed me, I take my own previously purchased IGA reusable bags and for once I checked the receipt and they'd charged me for my own bags, randomly in with other items, not at the top or bottom. How long has this been going on?

Very good packaged chicken schnitzel, wide range of stocks for a small shop. Good deli products. But most products are more expensive than Turramurra Coles. Staff not friendly but don’t blame them as they are quite young,Last evening saw a sign on the window saying RAT kits being sold here but a very unpleasant experience when queried inside and told they are out. If you’re out, remove the sign please.

Local family owned business. Good selection of gluten free food and quite fresh selection of vegetables everyday. Not a great selection of meat though.They have an ATM inside the shop that can save a walk to Turramurra.

Over priced, high staff turnover, stock always low. Have brought some of their cheese and bacon rolls and had mold on it. Most of the staff are inexperienced and are slow on the check out

I have shopped weekly or more often here for 4 years. I have seen the management of the store deteriorate markedly over the last year, Prices are not marked regularly on shelves for the items, specials almost invariably do not co-incide with the ticketed price at the checkout (higher price). Display terminals do not work or are obscured by items displayed. Yoghurts in the fridge have a strong odour of Indian food. You raise these issues with the manager and he laughs.I do hope IGA reads this feedback.
