Petrie Hotel is my favourite establishment. My friends and I frequent here for lunches and dinners regularly. The food is always exceptional and the staff and management team go above and beyond for their patrons and local community groups. I'd give them 10 stars , not 5!

Yesterday we celebrated my 50th birthday here. Our private function room was great. Food served was good. Service was excellent although we were told by staff that after the second shot some of my guests had that she wasn't allowed to serve any more by the manager, wich we found weird as our party was very quiet and private. I wished the manager should have come directly to me and discuss his problem he had with the alcohol serving instead of telling his staff to not serve us any longer.

I've lived in Petrie for almost 4 years and every time I've been to Petrie hotel, all of the staff are so warm and welcoming, the food from the restaurant is always hot and fresh, and most importantly, the beer is ALWAYS ice cold!Do yourself a favour and get down to Petrie hotel for a fantastic time!

Just ate here and unfortunately the pasta salad the chicken added pieces for $8 on top of the $23 salad price were dry as hell and no value for the cost you pay for the pasta salad. I left half of it at the table before leaving. The chicken schnitzel wasn’t the best that my friend had, but his potato and veggies were okay.Overall I wouldn’t return for those reasons.

To the chief and the staff, good team work.Today we celebrated my Beautiful friend Theresa's birthday and our friendship of 45years.After driving 250km to surprise her, by being there for lunch.The 4 of us were so impressed with our meals in every way.It looked appetizing and it was delicious, completes to the kitchen team.The service was great.After being in the hospitality industry for over 25yrs myself certainly appreciate good service.Thank You all,Jane, Theresa, Kathleen and Neil

The Queens spent a very relaxing Easter Sunday afternoon at the Petrie Hotel enjoying a music gig by Dirty Dice. The meals were perfectly cooked and presented ... so much so we will soon return for dinner one evening.Thank you to the staff for their warm welcome and friendly service - nothing was too much trouble.We hope to see Dirty Dice return for another gig soon.

Good food, great speedy service and a nice atmosphere. A wonderful little play area for children to keep them entertained. Overall a great dining experience! 5 stars!
