Had a terrible experience here. Purchased a factory second fridge with a few dings on it. After a few months it stopped working and we lost about $200 worth of food, after they sent someone to inspect the fridge they told us it had already been repaired but not correctly (we were told it was as good as new and not been repaired on purchase) as a result the fridge had to be replaced.They were hesitant to give us a loan fridge while we waited for our new one. They refused a refund and made us pay an extra & $200 for a new.Absolute nightmare, avoid this store.

Never ever buy online from these guys . We can send rocket to moon in one day. But these guys took 2 weeks to post an item.and in total 15 days to delivered. I thought would save some money but didn't work. So , good luck with your business.

Went in to buy a fridge. Store owner came up quickly and showed us around and what was on offer, fridge with a big dent in the front was reduced from $2k to $1000. Half price! Or so the sticker they put on it said.Googled the model number and found the same fridge BRAND NEW from the good guys for $850.Seems strange, a damaged product costing $150 more than a brand new one...

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!!I found an excellent place in Oakleigh South, and not only were their products not seconds; they were new in box and they were still cheaper than 2nd's world".I went to this store with my husband. We knew exactly what we wanted- sizes were important than product or price at this point becasue they needed to fit into the build in our new kitchen. We finally got a floor assistant. (as it was a very busy Sunday)I was the person asking the questions and the staff kept looking at my husband to answer.I walked over to a product and asked a question. The staff person sat in his chair and didn't get up to go with me. I asked for prices. At no time did this person stand to speak to us. At no time did this person walk to the product that I was interested in and asking questions about. He just seemed totally disinterested in helping us.This staff person spoke to my husband at all times and both refused to look at me

Great prices and really helpful staff. 2nds World is great for new products as well as carton/cosmetic damaged discounts. I started shopping there for the prices, but their customer service made me a regular shopper.

The white goods are fantastically priced. We saved at least $4000 on goods. If you can cope with run out stock or a fridge with a scratch. What the heck it's just gonna get a scratch or ding in the future anyway. The customer service is fantastic. I couldn't believe that I could buy new goods that are about 75 % cheaper than anywhere else and they come with great warranties.

Really awesome staff, 2 staff members even assisted me and my house mate to move and install the new washer and dryer. Above and beyond their employee duties. Highly recommend. Speak to Tom and Zac.

Bought a few items from here over years, no problems! Very helpful staff and the place to go for white appliance's. Your one stop shop! Definitely recommend 2nd's world Mentone.

Went in store to buy an oven and decided on the model chosen from the floor stock. When I went to buy it I was told that it was mislabeled and was not the model I was after, but they could transfer stock from another store. I went ahead with the purchase at this point, willing to wait a week for the transfer.I was phoned the next day to advise that the oven they were transferring was actually not the right model either, and was told I could have the lower spec model for the same price or wait 3 months for the model I bought.After speaking with the store manager they offered a $71 discount to the lower spec model (usually over $300 difference). I was advised they couldn't go any cheaper or they wouldn't make enough profit.Whilst this issue was not entirely within their control, I found their issue resolution to be poor and they had very little regard for the customer. In instances where your store has mislabeled a product and then promised a stock transfer that they could not do, perhaps think about the cornered customer and provide a fair price on an alternative product.

If you want warranties it's good. Found cheap toaster and kettle that are quite nice but fridges and washing machines are still very expensive. If you are looking for cheap white goods go to Facebook marketplace or gumtree
