We love Vietnamese food and this is really good. Large portions, great taste and friendly and attentive service. We will definitely go back again.

One of the best hainanese chicken I’ve had to date. Delicious moist chicken, and its served with ginger rice, and the broth flavoured with onion. Omg brings a smile to my face and day.

Having lived in Vietnam usually we find the Vietnamese food in Australia lacking the traditional flavours. But that wasn’t the case with Viet House in Scarborough. The food was amazing! Service was great. We will be back. Probably several times before we leave.

Terrible food and poor service. We ordered 1 serve of spring rolls as an entree and stipulated that we wanted our mains (chicken fried rice and honey chicken) to come out after we had finished our entree. The spring rolls arrived with the fried rice. The server put them on the table and was going back for the other main when I called her back and reminded her that when she took the order, we stated we did not want it all at once. She took the rice back. She later brought both meals out and they were cold and claggy. The cold rice was stuck together in lumps, and the soggy lemon chicken was served in a bowl. It tasted terrible and it was more like soup than anything else. My wife had asked the older lady if they had ginger and honey tea and she had no idea what it was, and she said 'No.' She then changed her tune and said they did have it and she brought some hot water out in a glass and in that there was some honey and some raw ginger floating on top. The serviettes are the size of a postage stamp. There were no Vietnamese people working there. We later felt the effects of the copious amounts of MSG.

Let me tell you, it was definitely worth it! The muffin was fresh and delicious, and the babychinno was the perfect indulgence. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendation from the staff, which added a delightful touch to my visit.The outdoor seating area at Viet House is simply lovely. It's a serene oasis where you can unwind and enjoy your food and drinks. The ambiance is peaceful, and I particularly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings while savoring my treats. Good food and service, but you need to clean that fish tank. Painful to watch how little creatures are suffering in dirty water. If you don’t have time to look after them, please give them to people who will do it
