food was amazing we had the truffle menu and local wine. chef made the rounds to say hello and he was very charming. thank you for a lovely night!

Le Tres Bon
Thank you so much, Le Tres Bon. It was my daughter in law’s birthday, so the beautiful food was a highlight for her celebration. Our waiter was wonderful - polite and attentive without being intrusive, and with a gorgeous French accent. The wood fire burning away in the corner just added to it being a wonderful time.

An absolutely delightful experience, from the gorgeous French music, the fireplace and the cute tables to the wonderful champagne cocktails and the beautifully presented and delicious food. We will be back for sure!

Cosy atmosphere to enjoy a small selection of traditional French dishes. The cassoulet has been on the menu for some time and never disappoints. The duck a l’orange is excellent.There’s a bit of waiting which is understandable but the food is worth it.Friendly service.Located on the way to the coast from Canberra and next to a service station.

The experience, as always, was phenomenal.We decided to try some new dishes rather than old favourites. My wife refused to choose a favourite from the six she tried, I really enjoyed the meringue embedded in ice-cream dessert, huge and delicious.

The three course dining menu here for $80 per head is good value for money as you are given a choice of entree, main and dessert. Pictured are the items we chose and the menu. They do take their time to serve the meals so don't arrive too hungry as you could be left waiting a while. The main which usually consists of a meat, is served in generous portions and is guaranteed to leave you full. Definitely worth the trip out to Bungendore if you're from Canberra and not in a hurry to get dinner. Total seating time was about 2.5 hrs. Regards @fooderarri

Limited but appropriate menu. Traditional French food and wines. Truffle recipes are a specialty in season. Great staff.

My family and I recently enjoyed a night at Le Très Bon. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and attentive and the atmosphere perfect for a cold winter night.
