Beware of the quality of Gree aircons. We got installed two of them brand new. One is working fine, the other had smoke and burning smell upon test run. After a few rounds coming back and forth conversation (we insisted on a replacement as it was brand new and tested faulty straight after installation; they sent a techinician and pinpointed the blown part which also killed the mainboard and replacing parts is the cheapest way for them). I made a complaint to Fair Trading. Gree's general rule is if it's repairable it won't be replaced, regardless how brand new it is, warranty starts when you make the purchase and for aircons you don't test until it's installed. Fair Trading cama back with their offer to repair (of course) and can't force any party to do anything (they're not law enforcement). In the case of if you don't like the offer to repair

I bought a home air conditioner from Kongs Construction recently. Their staff did not simply sell their AC to me straight away, but came to my home to inspect the power lines to make sure the new AC does not share the same power line with the existing AC, and the size of the AC is a good match to the room size. Good service!

Mr Kong and his team did a great job for us. I proposed what I want to build which is a wall to isloate a big area. Mr Kong gave us the quick solution and the design. The whole piece of work was completed within his promised time.
