OverratedJust a walk through thick unkept (typical for NPWS )busland full of prickly weeds. Few signs outlineing the possibility this was at some stage indigenous land with no real proof on display

The area itself is gorgeous, but the directions are awful and it took so long to find it that we were wiped when we got there. Also the warning sign for the hooded plover on the way to racetrack beach makes it seem that walking anywhere other than the main beach was forbidden.

A wonderful bush track around the headland with beautiful coastal native flora, stunning coastal views to the south and of Pigeonhouse Mountain northwards with mobs of shy grey kangaroos quietly watching from a distance.

Beautiful and peaceful. The walking track has some great facts about indigenous life here from an earlier time.Great beaches at either end too.
