Sherbrooke Falls
A well defined tracked, 1.4km in to the falls themselves. I would so much call them falls but casades. Though the falls themselves are left to be desired, The pleasant walk through the Dandenong Ranges tracks is relaxing, Native bird life, wild strawberries and abundance of fungi to spot and the beautiful shade of the tree ferns. No public amenities at the destination

Ok straight up it’s not what I would call a water fall. There’s a walking bridge over it and you can see water falling over some boulders and rocks but you’d see more waterfall action after holding it in on a 6 hour road trip with no stops. It is a really nice walk though and worth strolling through - even bring the kids, dogs and prams. There’s no Kmart though, only forest stuff and the occasional echidna. Oh and no cafe so bring your own single origin flavour. There are a few picnic tables nearby as well so it’s well worth a day trip for a nice quick city getaway just, lower your expectations as to what ‘falls’ might be.

Nice small inclines and clear walking track to small falls and then loop around top of mountain. Very nice and peaceful lush greens surrounding tracks.

Perfect place to stroll around. I went there in the summer and there was no water at the falls. Regardless, it's cool to walk in the woods and you get to see a lot of wildlife (spotted a lyrebird). The trail is rather flat so you don't get to experience a lot of elevation.

Nice easy walk. Flat ground most of the way but very muddy and wet now. Went from the falls to the picnic grounds. There are tables and toilets at the picnic ground. Spotted lots of interesting birds. The falls itself seems quite small but it was a leisurely walk.

Lovely walk which is mainly in the shade. Lots of tree ferns and a wide track to walk on. It slowly goes up hill and is 1.2 km to get to the Falls area. But it is not too hard as the track is good with no rocks & it is not steep just gentle uphill. There are some stairs down to the Falls but not too many. Falls are not big but would look nice after rain. We went when it was dryer but still enjoyed the walk.

The walk can be as long as you want. A short loop from the carpark at the top. Or extended to the lower parts of the mountain. Got lost a few times, missed the signs. Improved sign posting/positioning would be great. The 2hr walk ended up taking 3hrs. Look for the gates. Would be good if blocked off bridges were blocked off on both ends to prevent people walking from one end to see a blocked path on the other side. A reasonable amount of water in late Dec after some rainfall.

Great place to experience nature with beginner-friendly walking tracks. Plentiful views of the forest and animals perfect for nature photography.

One of the rare spots in Dandenong Mountain created by the nature. Absolutely lovely place with chance to enjoy wildlife near the big city. Not so far from Melbourne here everyone can enjoy the company of few type of birds and when you looks deep deep in the nature can find more interesting animals. Give a try and enjoy not so long pathway to do falls as well, not a crazy fall, but the sound of the water can bring everyone to the another level. Recommended!

Such a beautiful forest with multi types of bushes and plants, little creeks and streams (we didn’t see water fall) run over the rocks and bushes, chilling and relaxing for a short hike.
