My son although was the youngest 6 years old and participated in the full day camp for the entire week enjoyed it immenselyHe was assigned special care and a coach often one on one and my son advanced very quickCustomer service was very efficient and all matters were dealt with promptlyI highly recommend this campEnsure your kids wear a full steamer !!

It was very challenging to have my niece to take the swimming lessons. She has been complaining about the water being too cold. She was using a proper swimming gear and I did my best for her to enjoy.The 1st and 2nd class she didn't even complete the sessions. As a family member perspective, I do not want to see my niece feeling uncomfortable.Her mother requested to discontinue the classes and asked for reimbursement for the remaining classes and that was denied.Instructors are very young and they have this culture of basically forcing young children into cold waters until they settle in. I don't believe in that!

Jo and her team are fantastic. My 9yo and 12yo loved the summer camp. They learned a lot, got fitter and had fun at the same time.

It's not worth the effort! Water is very cold and the constant weather changes don't help either. There is no make up classes when your child miss days that are very cold, cloudy and windy. Also, there is no reimbursement policy. Staff is very young and do not have understanding of parenthood. If you don't want to see your child uncomfortable, do not waste your time and money!!!

Water is extremely cold all year round!My daughter was enrolled for 8 classes this summer and unfortunately she could only do half of it.Also, Mermaid Swim Academy has a policy of NO reimbursement. Therefore, you are forced to abandon the classes as you do not want to see your child uncomfortable.Their policy is very poor in this regard and the person in charge named Jo" should be more corteous when speaking to customers. I addressed all of the above to her and instead she said I needed to educate myself.This is unacceptable!Regards
