If I could give them a zero I would. Extremely rude and lazy, unless they have personal interest in the property - which they do not disclose even though it is a requirement. They do not fix faults regardless of potential human fatility or possible permanent injury. Will attempt to steal money from your bond under any pretense, despite you leaving the property in better condition than it was leased to you. Will breach your privacy, however they see fit. I have never had the dramas they create with any other real estate. I'm glad I took photos of the entire property and ensure you communicate via email to ensure you have everything in writing!

I fell in love with it as soon as I seen it & Cathy was super accommodating to make times around me to go back & view the house again... & again, even after I put the offer in, I was so excited I wanted to show the rest of my family. She helped me through every step of the way, reassuring me even when I had a few hiccups with the bank & keeping open communication between myself & the seller of the property to make sure it all ran smoothly. I would recommend Geoff to sell your house.I rented out my property through Murphy Boyden as well for 8 yrs.I lived interstate, which, in itself creates problems, and although I had a few issues over the time, they were sorted through communication with office staff. Nothing is ever going to run smoothly over such a long period, but overall I am happy it was the Murphy Boyden Staff that I dealt with. Please note I never write these reviews - I felt this needed to be written though. If I could stop 1 person from going through what I went through (by not choosing Murphy Boyden as their agent), than this post will be worth it.Along with lots of small unprofessional issues that we encountered, there was one major issue which completely tainted our experience for renting out our property through Murphy Boyden that we owned.Our property manager (Karon) performed an initial PCR for a tenant that moved in - there were no photos of the backyard, and it was missing photos from 3 of the bedrooms inside the house. I asked her if she could please return to take the missing photos (as I wanted photo evidence if there was any damage to the house), she replied saying that she would take the missing photos at the first inspection 3 months later. I tried multiple times to contact her and explain that there could be damage caused to the property in those 3 months but my replies were ignored.3 months later, I got the new photos, and of course the backyard was completely dead, and a fair majority of our gardens. She had no answer to our complaints, and we were left heavily out of pocket for all the work we had put into the backyard.After all the smaller issues and this large issue, I requested to end our contract with Murphy Boyden, as they had breached our agreement (there is a clause if a written request is not adhered to within 28 days, the lessor may cancel the contract).Margaret (the owner) refused to end the contract, claiming the reason all of the issues were due to miscommunication".
