Wow! Gold Coast has so many little gems like Ian Dipple Lagoon. Great for young families who want to just have a dip on a hot sunny days, swim/feed the pelicans or just eat fish n chips by the lagoon.Charis Seafood & small number of specialty shops are there, undercover tables & there is car park available.Although, it gets quite busy.

Great place for young families. Beside the lagoon there is also a good playground, and a good fish n chip shop. Plenty of shade, tables, and seats. Lots of pelicans and little fish for the kids to see. Lovely views.

Perfect Place to spend the weekend with kids. Amazing to watch the pelicans flying in and landing. Boardwalk. Many beaches have a place where visitors can walk above the sand.Shore. The area where the sand meets the water is called the shore.Coast. The coast is the part of the land that's close to the sea or ocean. ...Ideal for sports Sandbar. ...#handycap there is a floating chair for people with disability. When we were there - organized by the council - a man arrived in his wheelchair and was lifted into this special water - floating chair. Was driven by 2 volunteers into the water. He did his swim and they waited for him and brought him back. #Goldcoast #leisure #travel #fun #nature #vacation #summer #lifestyle #outdoors #tourism #photography #recreation #love #holiday #people #beach #photooftheday #design #sky #adventureTide pool. ...hardly any Waves. ...Soft serve. ...Salt water taffy.

Popular lagoon with safer area to swim. Daily free pelican feeding which is good for all ages but can be overrun by those trying to get a pelican selfie.

Lovely calm lagoon. Great hole in the wall coffee shop metres away. Large permanent shade structures. Park with bbqs just behind. Very easy way to spend the day.

Great spot to take the kids. Lagoon is a good size, can be deep at high tide though. Have even seen dolphins swim in close! The Pelican feeding daily at 1:30pm is a big highlight. Parking can be hard, so get there early.

Great for the family. Feed fish at high tide and pelicans after lunch. If your children love the beach but not the waves this is a great place to visit.
