It was a place I visited because I remembered a cup of coffee on a rainy morning, and it was nice to be able to feel the full autumn. The atmosphere was nice, and the coffee and food were delicious. If you want to feel autumn, go for it.

What a great way to spend a mid-autumn lunch. The produce was excellent and prepared carefully. Figs with whipped feta and cured pork were delicious. We also had the tommy ruff and the lamb pie, both of which were great. Nice, laid-back service too. Highly recommended.

An absolutely delightful 5 Star cafe/restaurant! Quality food. Quality service. Relaxed atmosphere nestled into a leafy garden.During the day you can enjoy a top quality coffee and then visit Newman’s Nursery next door. This is definitely one of Adelaides best hidden treasures!

Awesome place! Located right next to Newman's Nursery, this cafe is a peaceful hidden gem. The food was excellent with a big range of little sharing plates, mains, kids options and drinks. While you're waiting for food you can explore the nursery (great for kids to expend some energy).

Lunched here and the atmosphere is superb especially the verandah on a beautiful 20-25c degree sunny day. The garden is a little noise with the cars travelling on the road but if you're there for a long lunch like we were by the afternoon you have the whole garden to yourself.A stroll to the garden centre after will help work off the food intake. For the dishes, some good and some not so good. I had the Kangaroo and it was great. Don't miss their sourdough and churn butter. Friends had the green pasta and it was not a hit. I also cannot appreciate rosemary in creme brulee.Service was superb, people were super friendly and I had a last minute change in guest numbers and they were very accommodating especially this time of the year.

Fine dining quality food at cafe price! I firstly visit Topiary when I visit Newman’s Nursery to have a quick bite. Now, I visit Newman’s Nursery when I have eat and drink at Topiary. The standard of food quality is phenomenal. I would say it is almost fine dining level, but price is very reasonable for what you pay for. What I mostly like is that they focus onto seasonal produces. Fresh seasonal ingredients are always the first step to the good food. There are quite interesting choices for breakfast and lunch, but I miss their scones though which is no longer available on the current menu. Nicely set in leafy surroundings and plenty of natural light even in indoor plus enjoy shopping for your garden at Newman’s Nursery. Highly recommend!

We had a fine evening at Topiary. The food was great and really highlighted produce from the garden and sustainable eating. We ordered the sourdough with churned butter, mussels, chicken liver pate, crunchy potato with egg, jogger carpaccio, fish of the day, green pasta with smoked chicken and the apple whipped cheesecake. Flavours were great and different to the usual palette at most other places. Lots of fresh and earthy flavours. Areas for improvement in my opinion would be: the pasta was over cooked and was getting mushy, smoke on the chicken could be toned down as it was starting to taste acrid and wine list was a bit limited. Overall, worth the visit for a fairly enjoyable night

Great food and service in a tranquil location with plenty of parking. Really enjoyed the Chilli Scramble, especially with the infusion of Asian flavours and aromas which complements the ingredients very well. Will definitely return in the future to try other dishes.

Good food, nice ambience, has a mini art gallery as well. Good selection of plants in the adjacent nursery.
