Staff member who took my order huffed and rolled her eyes at me, I found myself apologising for making slight changes to the food for my daughter who has food allergies. Food was terrible, my coffee was served in a dirty glass. I didn’t eat my food and even when they cleared my plate no one asked what was wrong with my meal or why I sent it back relatively untouched! Raw spinach, mushrooms were not cooked and two tiny pieces of halloumi. Would I go back, absolutely not! There are other cafes within walking distance with better service and amazing food.

Beautiful food, great gluten free options. Exceptional service. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Also, I left my handbag at the cafe and they went out of their way to return it to me.

The staff at waves are extremely friendly and make the café experience pleasant. All the staff but one, child sized woman, who made my coffee. The coffee was rather average and the woman's attitude towards her job was poor! I will have to revisit and try the food another day however I will be going elsewhere for a coffee.

Fantastic location for breakfast, wide menu or they make to order. Fresh Orange juice and great coffee.Definitely add to your list. Great to visit weekdays or outside of holiday periods

I’ve been a regular here at this cafe for years even introducing many friends and professional colleagues who are visiting on business from out of town. I can honestly say that after today I won’t ever be going back. Not only is the service poor, unfriendly and lacking in people skills; but when they throw out your expensive designer leather shoes that you left under the table because “you took too long to come back and get them” is an absolute disgrace. In my book ten days is not too long to hang onto someone expensive belongings, and it’s not like they take up too much room, a cupboard would store them! It’s also not like they aren’t aware that I am a regular local customer and will pop back to get them next time I work and eat there.The women in charge was blunt matter of fact, no apologies, no caring and cold as a fish about it. Never ever could I throw out anything belonging to a local customer, and neither could any of the other local cafe owners that know me and that I have a wonderful repot with. It seems that old school values, integrity, loyalty towards customers don’t exist in this cafe despite mine towards them. Regrettably I leave this factual review. And lastly, whoever is wearing my shoes I hope you can fill them.
