Service NSW

I went to Nelson Bay service NSW to change my foreign licence to a NSW licence. Very simple process according to all my acquaintances from the same country who did it too in Newcastle.None of the staff were able to found out what they had to do to change my licence, and so they decided to make it my job to contact the consulat to ask for a proof of documentation.I decide to go to another Service NSW (Raymond Terrace), way more competent, who said theycould have done it very easily, however, because Nelson Bay flagged my request waiting for the consulat’s approval, they can’t do anything until I actually get the approval.Waste of my time. I’m very unhappy with their service in Nelson Bay.

Great people, though I can’t book a test until 10th JAN due to only one computer being available for Marine.

The young guy on the floor helping me renew my licence had great people skills.He was very professional and helpful.Thank you.

Do not bother doing your driving test with the instructor Dean. He is totally unfair and loves to create situations to fail people. Its clear he enjoys failing people. He doesnt give the driver clear explanations and is quite arrogant towards the driver. He is extremely unfair. My child has also engaged numerous private lessons to clarify the technicalities. He will try tell you you turned too far over your lane and then thats a fail ! He will intervene unneccessarily and then fail you for his own unneccessary intervention.His intentions to start with is to create a fail. Hope your getting your kicks Dean, if my daughter wasnt ready to be on road id totally get it. But i am an experienced driver and know she is a safe and good driver. Stop intimidating and upsetting the young ones and maybe be a little more ethical and reasonable.

Just terrible and ridiculously slow. Try to transfer a qld licence to nsw and takes two weeks so far. I found the info with one phone call. Have had to cancel four HC Appointments so far. Not good enough really.

If you've ever had to renew your licence transfer your car rego or even change your number plates Nelsons Bay is where I be heading. to the team at Nelsons Bay they looked after me so well that I've given this review to thank them so much for looking after me so well . it's not every day that you have a team of people that can work so well in one office that when you walk out you actually feel good that you went to Services New South Wales thank you once again Nelsons Bay from mwh
