Tedz Mobile Mechanic

Ted saved our holiday! After driving up from Brisbane for our family holiday, the alternator in our Jeep Grand Cherokee died suddenly late afternoon on Boxing Day. Most mechanics were closed, too busy to assist or said the part would take weeks to arrive. As we have to be back in Brisbane in a week for work we were in quite a pickle! We called at least 15 mechanics before we found Ted the next day. He arrived within 90 minutes of our call, sourced the part within that time too for cheaper than anyone else had quoted and took just 3 hours to complete the job. We are now back on the road enjoying our holiday with our children 24 hours after the saga begun and the car hasn’t skipped a beat since! Thank you SO much Ted, your professionalism, efficiency, knowledge, customer service and brilliant pricing are hugely appreciated by us. We only wish we could have you in Brisbane to do all our mechanical work for us! Thank you!!

Ted is reasonable, he seems to do his best from my experiences with him. I thought i was charged a lot for all of my brakes and master cylinder replacement,but I asked a mechanic friend and he said that was very standard pricing, so i am pleased with him and his efforts!

Unreliable, booked him in, called an hour after he was supposed to arrive, he finally messaged back saying he had forgotten, then he gave me the option to work around him picking up his kids or he arrived when I wasn't able to be home. Eventually told me my ecu wasn't communicating, no reason why it wasn't, gave me a number of someone that doesn't even work on my car, took the hundred dollars and off he went

This is the worst piece of customer service I have come across.I called to have my car repaired. I gave him details and where to pick up keys. He accepted the job and said he would be 2 hrs before he could come out.After 3 hrs he txt me to say the he will not do the job after accepting it.He left me high and dry as all mechanics are now closed. Won't be recommending him anytime soon.Peter.
