Sensational meals, drinks the right price and very friendly staff. Not much more to like. A must visit when in Cobar overnight.

It wasn’t very busy in the pub. We ordered three meals. . First meal came out in ten minutes.They brought out a chicken schnitzel soon after. When I said I had ordered a grilled chicken breast. The young boy said. Yeah grilled chicken breast with crumbs.He took that backNext meal came out 30 minutes after the first meal and my chicken breast came out 15 minutes later.So Amish an hour after ordering I received my meal.This is not the first time this has happens. One co worker had to wait almost two hours for his meal.It would be great if the whole table could eat together.

Oh my goodness the meals are massive I picked the $20 special and got beer battered barramundi and chips salad thinking it would only be a piece of fish but it was 3 huge pieces I highly recommend this place if you are stopping in cobar

Had a decent tasty and big parmy for dinner and the beer was exceptionally cold which is a big win. Reef and beef the other night was ok but the meat quality could have been better. Nice big dinning area.

An absolutely fantastic outback pub. The owners and bar staff are very respectful and appreciative of their customers. It makes working away from home so much more pleasant, when places like the Empire make you feel like home. The steaks are bloody fantastic too.

We were told about the Imperial Hotel about their nice meals so we went down and had some seafood platter and roast pork and it was lovely the staff were really nice the food was lovely and great atmosphere was really good and it just had a pleasant feel about the whole place I would highly recommend this place for dinner and drinks and just to relax from mwh
