Heritage House Cherrybrook Childcare & Early Learning Centre

My older child went to HH a few years ago and my little one is currently attending, he started in the babies room and is now in the preschool room. Our experience has been great, educators are really caring and infrastructure is amazing, love the outdoor area. My children have been very well cared of throughout the years and management responded well the one time we had a concern. I would certainly recommend this centre.

Absolute disgrace. Money-hungry management with no regard for children or families. We have been sending our eldest to Heritage House for about 2 years. When we first enrolled him, we were really happy but over the last year we have seen a steady decline in the quality of care and in the consistency of daily updates, with no visibility into the food being served, with changing staff, and with not receiving any end-of-day summaries. The director of the centre is absolutely fantastic, but I don't feel that she is appropriately supported by management or the owners. This has never been a CHEAP service, but with the recently implemented fee increase, it makes it one of the more expensive ones (if not THE most expensive service) in the area. I think it's time for us to find a new centre for our children.We have recently pulled both our boys out of this centre. The director was the only reason we were staying and she's now leaving - I can only assume she's been as unsupported and disregarded as the families of the centre. Don't send your kids here.

Casey, Caitlin, and the staff at Heritage House are incredible!! They truly take my girls’ care to heart and do their utmost to make us feel welcome in the well appointed classrooms. Communication is great and the daily menu is phenomenal :)

Edited 20.6.23The original review shows how much we loved this centre. However similar to other reviewers, in the last 6 months this centre has gone increasingly downhill. They have had loads of problems with staff but the upper management has chosen to ignore all our parents' concern. After repeatedly asking for a parent educators information evening, they finally held one earlier this year where multiple parents voiced many serious concerns about their child's safety and development but all of these were ignored and 5 months in there's been no change. They hiked their fees, without any reason on how this will improve the quality of life for their educators or for the kids. The centre director did everything in her power to keep this afloat but has also recently quit along with multiple families and their own staff departing the centre. DO NOT send your children to this centre if you care for them. There are many many many other incredible, and cheaper, options in this area instead. The staff on floor are lovely and kind (hence the two stars), but they are absolutely not set up for success. The upper management only cares about money, and their vision statement about putting kids first is an absolute joke.----------------------------------------------Original Review:I would give more than five stars if I could! This centre is amazing, Casey , Caitlin and the team really pour their heart out in caring for your child. Food is incredible, the activities are super engaging and the updates everyday help relieve anxiety when you’re just starting to put your kid in daycare. My boy has been going there since six months and they have played such a pivotal role in his development ❤️

Really down to earth, loving educators. We are always greeted with a warm smile and made to feel like we have an extended family at the centre!The educators have taken so much genuine time to really get to know our child. We are very grateful!

Edited my review due to recent events at the centre. What started out as a great, positive experience has descended into concern.Staff ratios just havent seemed adequate lately when we drop our children off to the centre, there has been a huge staff turnover however they work a notice period so time to replace should be good.The chances of our boys coming home and not wanting to bathe on a night due to severe nappy rash is often high yet 2 days over a weekend and they're fine again, are staff getting complete training prior to being employed?Being charged for things that havent been completed seems to be a great trick here too, incursions" are charged up front each year... but rarely done.This review is quite the read however be warned

This center has good facilities with a suitable outdoor area. The educational program lacks depth and learnings appropriate to a child’s age. We struggled with regular updates whilst our child was in care and the few updates we received were often incorrect. Our child did not settle in, I believe this is a result of poor relationship building between staff and the family. Concerns raised with the director was met with band-aid solutions.

The team at Heritage House Cherrybrook are encouraging, attentive and we couldn’t ask for better support with our kids.The team ensures the classes are constantly stimulated, with a variety of activities from experiments to incursions, and our kids always come home excited to tell us about their day.Heritage House has played a key role in helping our kids grow and find their place in the world and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and considered childcare for their children.

My daughter has been attending since she was 8 months and I am so happy with the decision I made to enroll her at this centre. The educators are all professional, friendly and warm. Now my daughter always give a big smile to educator when she go in. I know she likes in such loving environment. I would highly recommend this centre.

Great centre that provides genuine care for the kids. My two boys have gone there and both have loved it. The values and behaviours they promote and instill in the children are an incredible asset for them use into their schooling years. Even though last year has been a bit rough on the management side, it is understandable when put into perspective; our feedback has always been heard and taken into consideration. Infrastructure is great and one of the best in the area in my opinion.
