Placed a Ad for my vehicle. the enquiries were mostly fraudulent scammers requesting money for transport of the vehicle, using a frauduent licence. Informed Carsales......no answer. Requested a credit no answer.Genuine, honest buyers were discouraged by the scammers stating they would pay more for the vehicle. As soon as the Ad was up the scammers started, no protection for the seller.Lastly they would give you ............ 'Ínstant Offers' which decrease every week, I am currrently up to 15% less than there 'so called ' Redbook lowest price, which is another reason to highlight how bad they were.

What a waste of money. It was a mistake using Carsales. The ad was expensive, it didn't generate quality result or leads. Facebook Marketplace lead to dozens of genuine leads one of which who quickly bought the car.

Carsale is a dying Business, I made a huge mistake advertising here! Not only I didn’t get any result or leads I lost $150, whereas in Facebook I got hundreds to leads and thousands of view.Your customer services is horrible I wouldn’t recommend Carsales to anyone! I am sure in couple of years Facebook will take over everything!

They're essentially unreachable over the phone. Their customer service team is not available even when calling during business hours. Expensive ads and no support. Avoid.

Listed on stock exchange but can't do anything if dealer is under qouting the advertised price to lure potential customers to find out that actual price is $3000 above advertised on carsales.

Hopeless !! I placed an add last night and paid for it $95. The motorbike is not listed. Its not there. Tried to call customer care this morning 3 times and they are not available and refer you to the online service. !!

So disappointed with carsales it is failed to generate even single lead. Personally I had a great experience with the free posting on Facebook market place and Gumtree. Generated many leads and I sold my car on my terms and price. Think twice before you go with carsales

Don’t seem to be able to unsubscribe from all marketing communication … no matter how many times you click.Been trying to unsubscribe from alerts for weeks now. The emails just keep on coming.

Car sale become dodgy money hungry company. they charge for ads depend on your car price and after a mount your ad going to the bottom then they ask for $25 for a week or $47 for 2 weeks to bring your ad up. I am disappointed after so many years I use the site to sale my car. What is the deference how much my car worth? you use same services regardless of your car price. BIG RIP OFF

Rubbish platform. Extremely expensive and won't let me list more than 4 cars. They let you pay for it and hold the money for two weeks but no ad goes live. Have around 23 classic cars to sell from my collection and paid for a few ads costing around $240 each and all were removed.Advertised and sold most of my cars through gumtree and Facebook.
