First of all the floor plan is brilliant. We have been completely impressed with Spectrum from beginning to end.From the pre building stage and through the construction phase we have had no issues. Throughout the build our building supervisor was in charge and on top of what outcomes we wanted. The build progressed on time and without any unwelcome surprises.Everything we discussed in the planning phase has materialised and as far as I can tell in this early stage there is nothing to complain about or to feel concerned about.This floor plan is brand new, therefore I can see a few minor defects and if Spectrum build another house of same plan, I am sure they will make improvements. Everyone learn from past experiences.Thank you Spectrum Homes!!!.

Lied to so we’d pay a deposit. When questioned, sales person wouldn’t return calls, emails or SMS’s.Sales manager and Director got involved but stuck by their sales method. We lost our whole deposit. Wouldn’t trust or ever think of building with.

We moved in to our Home in July 2020 so have left till now after all defects rectified to review. While generally happy with the Quality of the trades there are a few examples of some pretty average work that I would expect better. We chose Spectrum because we built earlier with Newstart and Spectrum seems to be the Phoenix from the ashes of Newstart. Overall I wouldn’t build with them again – It wasn’t Terrible, but I expected more from a “non mainstream” builder. We have seen homes in our area from Brighton, Coral, Plantation that represent better value for money IMO. My biggest issue with the build was a glaring omission from Blaine in the design. We wanted a cornerless stacker in our Living area that was to be a main centerpiece of the house. We sat with him on many appointments, showed him photos, designs, viewed and discussed aspects of the CS in the Coomera showroom – There is 0% chance he didn’t know that’s what we wanted yet it wasn’t drawn in and we didn’t pick it up in the plans. Spectrum’s default position seems to be that we should know how to read Architects plans and we signed it so bad luck. When raised with Tony & Blaine neither got back to us with any explanation, by then it was too late. Tony seems to be defensive when challenged by anything that puts them in a bad light. If you decide to build with Spectrum I suggest you learn how to read plans and seek second opinions on everything as it will never be their fault.

I have visited the sales office today in the display village, the sales consultant was very argument and didn't know how to respect potential buyers.It certainly was disgraceful

Spectrum Homes are the only ones who were able to provide us with a great annex house design. Others were not bothered, but these guys stepped up. This is the second time we're building with them! Always professional, always v friendly!

The team at Spectrum Homes were fantastic. They were able to help us find a house plan to fit our block of land, which had a very difficult shape, whilst other building companies could not. The whole process was made easy and stress free by the team. Would highly recommend if your looking at building a home.

Great team all round from sales/office to the trades used . This family run company helped us build our dream home . Our block was a problem block and spectrum where not put off by our problem peace of land like a lot of the other builders .They not only built the house and a huge retaining wall they they walked us threw the process step by step . I’m a tradesman me self and there trades where superb . Could not recommend this company enough and would definitely build with them again ( never moving from our dream house ) thanks to all the spectrum team/family for all the hard work that went into our home .
