Modish nails and beauty salon

Please avoid at all costs. I came in to get acrylic nails removed. I had already clipped them at home and the lady ignored me when I asked her not to clip them down further and did it anyway. She clipped one nail down to the skin which really hurt. The next nail she clipped too far down and left it hanging. To remove the nails she used a piece of plastic and pried them off which was painful and has removed some of my natural nail. I didn’t let her file them down or buff them as she had made my nails so sore I didn’t want her touching them anymore. Horrific practice paid $15 for this absolute disgrace.

Beauty is not my strong suite - so I just get a standard manicure and nail polish - not shellac. They do a great job here - even with a tough gig like my hands and feet. They get very busy so suggest that you book. The service is great - if you want to chat they do - if you don't feel like that - then they respect that too. Very clean and hygienic. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our day here. We ended up staying for ages; Bbowling, playing arcade games, a game of billiards & having a bite to eat. It was a lot of fun. The food tasted great. The staff were friendly. Trendy music was playing and we had a lot of laughs. We are looking forward to returning.

I went in this morning to get an almond/oval shape French manicure done by Jimmy. He did an incredible job, he was very patient, thorough and didn't mind having a chat. The nails feel lightweight and very fresh. Highly recommend. The staff all seem very lovely and also love to engage with their customers.

Have been going here for about 18 months and my nails & toes always come out looking really nice, however, the owners wife can and has been very rude on a few occasions for no reason. I went there earlier on this week and her outburst and rudeness (in front of other clients) left me bewildered and speechless. I'm still re living it every now and again in my mind. Not sure what happened there with her.
