Simply amazing from start to finish. It is the first time I have been to Essendon Renault to get my Megane looked at and from the minute the phone was first answered to the last contact they were faultless. I hope not to be back too soon because I don't travel that many km's but when I do, I will certainly be back here.

Purchased a new 2022 trafic a little over 2 weeks ago and have been having a couple of minor issues , so I popped into this service centre unannounced and unfortunately I didn’t catch his name but I’d like to say a big thank you for taking the time ( even though you were fully booked out) to take a look and address a couple of concerns I had . The van has been booked in for a inspection and I feel very confident that I’ve taken it to the right place A+ to the gentleman that helped me out .

Paid 2500$ for a major service only to discover I had an oil leak 2 weeks later. Booked an appointment to take it there , they told me they didnt have the part. Came back a few weeks later to fix it , paid extra 200$ they told me it was all fixed. Only to find out the oil leak was coming from somewhere else , rebooked an appointment for them to tell me it's an additional 3000$ to fix it. Already been there 4 times this year , they just waste your time and money not to mention my van being a work car , I lost work time and income. Ended up finding a different mechanic that only quoted me 1000$ to fix the oil leak. Never going back and really not happy with the customer service at all. Wouldn't recommend buying a Renault vehicle for work as it costs too much to maintain and breakdowns for a car at 100.000km .

I am the kind of person who is always busy at work and doesn’t have the time to deal with car maintenance or minor engine issues. So I never check my car after service is completed because I trust that the job is going to be done as expected.Last year in July 2021, during the peak of COVID, I took my car for regular service to Renault Essendon. When it was ready, their receptionist called me and said that I could go and collected it. I arrived 2 hours later due to work commitments but surprisingly my car was not there, also:1. I had to wait about 30 minutes until the car was back onsite.2. The receptionist and manager were just making silly excuses about the delays to bring the car back (which should have been there in the first place)3. When the car returned, it was not cleaned (interior or exterior) and the bonnet was really hot (estrange for a short drive)4. Also, one of the taillights was not working and was wobbly. At the time, I complained about the light and the car not being cleaned. So they washed it but no apology was offered because of the delays or the taillight issue. I decided to move on and forget about that negative incident, particularly because I only use the car during the weekends. On Christmas day (2022), I was not expecting the car was not going to start when I needed it the most. Fortunately, the car was in my carpark, so I decided to check the bonnet (for the first time since the last service in July 2021). I was perplexed when I noted that the engine cover and the bonnet insulation panel were missing!I decided to go and talk to the manager at Renault to expose my concerns about the quality of the service as well as the honesty of their staff members, however, his responses were even more disturbing:• “The Renault cars do not come with engine protector”• “Some vehicles do not come with insulation panels under the bonnet”I challenged him about his responses, so he when inside the shop to check their system, then he returned and said that “these parts need to be imported from France and it can take up to 2 months to get them delivered” which contradicts what he initially said. He also said:• “You are too late to complain because it’s more than 1.5 years…If you came a few weeks later, I would’ve believed you completely”.• “Many people remove the engine cover and insulation panel as they are useless to the engine’s life expectancy”.• “Your car is discontinued, and no one would buy it as it does not have any value”.No apology was offered, no solution was offered, and I was practically accused that I stole these parts from my own vehicle. From this experience, it is clear that I will never take by car to this place again, I don't trust them. If they took 2 “useless parts” (as the manager said), they might have also changed other original parts or taken more “useless parts”.I would recommend you to go somewhere else where the staff treats you with respect and respect for your items. A regular service here could be more expensive than what you expect. Don’t trust them.

Very decent & honest staff here.!Damian there is a top bloke.!My Renault's low beam headlights apparently blew, I was clueless thought it might of been a fuse, he was generous enough to explain to me what the issue was.! Would not even think about servicing another place or whether if anyone should anywhere else a Renault!
